Hopefully the HTS site allows me to order a SDCC 2012 FOC Bruticus.

I'm wondering what day these sdcc 2012 exclusives will arrive on the hts.com site. last year it was on tuesday at around 12:00 PM EST.

As was written in the article, it is most likely that a limited amount of Bruticus and H.I.S.S. Tank Shockwave sets have been withheld for a (flash) sale on HasbroToyShop.com on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon.

Given the quick sell out at the show, expect a lot of traffic on the site when the exclusives go live and for them to sell out quickly, so keep your fingers nimble when the exclusives go online.

I wasnt sure if that was the writers opinion or a confirmed fact. Was also wondering what the general census on their availability was from the board members.

Seibertron.com has a video review of the full Bruticus set from SDCC, if you don't want the reviewers oppinions then turn the sound off and watch the combiner in action, trust me it's worth a look and it'll show you exactly what you're getting out of the set.

Thanks for telling us. That review helped me with a few things. 1) Blast-Off's robot mode is better than I thought it was. 2) Vortex's robot mode is better than I thought it was. 3) Vortex and Blast-Off both have colors that are hideous. 4) There's no need to bother with HasbroToyShop.com when Bruticus goes up for sale.

For the record, I didn't mention this review to deter anyone from purchasing the SDCC set, just that everyone should be allowed to know what they are buying before throwing money at it.

There's no need to explain yourself. That review is just a good way to get a good look at SDCC Bruticus. It's a well made review and we get to see the set in a way that is honest; that is, none of that Photoshop embellishing that Hasbro does with stock photos. Hasbro can keep their SDCC Bruticus, I'll stick with the retail and G2 versions of Bruticus.

I mean, nothing is confirmed until it's confirmed, but in past years, even when the stock sells out at the show, it's available in limited quantity on the site. It wasn't my opinion, just based off of previous years.

Wow...Swindle looks great with properly transformed arms!

As an FYI - I asked Hasbro about this myself when at the con last week. They said that it would be Monday at 9:00 am they would go on sale (PST). This clearly did not happen so I don't know what day it will go up but they did admit that some were retained (1% of total production) to sell on the website.

Having bought two brutics (one to open and one to keep in box) I must admit it's a fantastic figure with only a couple problems tha tI don't care for.

1. Onsluaght's vehicle form is awful, it feels incomplete with way too many robot parts clearly visible, the front looks like the model properly but nothing past that is corret.

2. Blastoff as an arm produces some wierd joint articulaion, his arm can't properly bend forward leaving the only reasonable pose he can do is have his arm outsrtetched or holding the gun in both hands.

3. Brawl's link to onslaught has two problems. It's dificult to put in place becasue it can swing in both directions and requires a lot of force to put in so expect it to shift around a lot. Also in robot mode unless you flip it around it looks like. . .well, a purple anus. Admittedly you are supposed to do this to it afterall but it looks rather unsightly whenever you are transforming him.
