I was hoping that Legends would not be included in the 40... I really want a lot of new G1 classics characters, not just a whole line of FOC

 

 

They still have repaints of some figs to put out like Kup, Scourge and Perceptor among others, so you'll probably see those. Hopefully we'll get some all new molds to go along with them.

Love Ultra Magnus and Starscream. Not too crazy about Sideswipe and Kickback. Fireflight looks meh, in my opinion. He should look more like a jet, and not a gunship/flying cannon/space gun....that should only be reserved for Shockwave.

Love them all.

 

In order of love:

 

1. Ultra Magnus (Aside from not being a voyager, he's a perfect use for that mold. He uses it better then Optimus Prime).

2. Fireflight (His robot mode/head sculpt is freakin' awesome. Jet mode is meh but he gets 2nd because thats how awesome his bot mode is. Also his Autobot symbol is upside down in jet mode :/).

3. Kickback (Could stand to swap out the gray with black, but otherwise really nice).

4. Starscream (Excellent. Looks exactly like his video game counterpart in both modes and maybe better. Only problem I have is I've always hated the way those legs look).

5. Sideswipe (Chest seems too out of proportion to the rest of the body. Also not digging the MechTech sized weapon. I mean it looks cool but its just way too big).

Shockwave as Fireflight is all kinds of wrong.

As much as I'll complain about more FOC figures that are not the heavily DEMANDED Dinobots filling the Generations line and severely limiting the possibilities of us seeing any properly updated past characters from various TF series, I do feel that these all look fantastic, and will also prove to be very versatile kitbashing material, well hopefully. Looking at these I see many opportunites for parts swapping and repainting, at the very least I hope that doesn't disappoint

Fireflight looks way better then Shockwave, and Sideswipe is a must. I'm actually impressed with the Magnus. and Starscream I hope is the beginning on the WFC/FOC Seekers without waiting 7 years to complete

That is most definitely attached to the 40. Fireflight and Soundblaster will definitely be, although Fireflight looks great.

 

You gonna get both those blasters, Breaker? You know you do!

I am Very excited about these figures.

I don't mind that fact that Fireflight is a retool from Shockwave due to the many differences between the two figures.

Kickback looks pretty awesome.

Sideswipe looks very nice, but I still don't like the Oversized gun in vehicle mode. :/

Ultra Magnus looks very cool. I might just get him and stick to my WFC Optimus because Magnus uses the mold better. :P

Starscream is just full of win. The weapons might be a little oversized, but over all, he might be the best of the bunch second only to Magnus. :P

I also hope that Scarscream get's repainted into Thundercracker and Skywarp, because that would be awesome. to have. :D
