Create a "WISH LIST" of 40 Generations toys you'd like to see in 2013

Recommended Posts

Create a "WISH LIST" of 40 Generations toys you'd like to see in 2013. Because Hasbro's toyfair promised 40 generations toys in 2013.

Get as creative & un-realistic as you please, list all your most desired TF characters/toys that you want to get the updated super poseable toy treatment. Please try to list various TF toy sizes & list what size you want your character to be in.

If,you don't have the time nor desire to list all 40,it's okay just list a few.

Here's my most wanted 40 generations new molds I'd like to see get made & released in 2013:

I'm a huge fan of the combiners concept & i'm a veteran 1980's old school TF fan.

Here's my 40 Gnerations 2013 new mold TF toy list:

Basic size class: Special note this will consit of all combiner limbs.

(1 thru 4) Four basic sized Stunticons combiners limbs.

(5 thru 8) Four basic sized protectobots combiners limbs.

(9 thru 12)Four basic sized terrorcons combiners limbs.

(13 thru 16) Four basic sized Technobots combiners limbs.

Deluxe size Class: Special note this will consist mostly of combiners.

(17)Motormaster combiner

(18)Hotspot combiner

(19)Hungurr combiner

(20)Scattershot combiner

(21 thru 24)Four deluxe Sized 1986 Predacons combiners limbs.

Voyager size class:

(25) Voyager sized Predacon Razorclaw combiner

(26 thru 27) Two Voyager sized 1989 TF Victory,Starsabre & Victoryleo, that can combine to form a leader sized super robot & super sized jet.

(28 thru 29) Two voyager sized vechicles that can combine to form a leader sized robot called Overlord from the 1988 masterforce cartoon/toy line.

(30)Tripple changer 1986 Springer

(31)1987 Horrocon tripple changer Apeface

(32)1987 Horrorcon tripple changer Snapdragon

Ultra Size class:

(33)1988 6 changer Quickswitch

(34)1985 Tripple Changer Blitzwing

(35)1989 TF Victory Deathsauras

(36)1990 TF Zone Diatulas

(37)1991 Battle stars/return of Convoy Super Megatron

Leader Size class:

(38) 1986 G-1 styled Galvatron that looks exactly like the 1986 movie/season 3 animation art. must transform into that laser canon alt mode.

(39)1986 G-1 Styled Rodimus Prime, that looks exactly like the 1986/movie season 3 animation art. transforms from one piece tractor trailor into a one piece huge robot mode. similar in vein to the titanium 6 inch rodimus prime toy but 9 inches tall in robot mode.

(40) 1987 G-1 styled Sixshot. looks exactly like the 1987 toy/cartoon animation but with the added super poseabilty.

First off, I'd say play it safe and only pick 20-30. We have to start looking at Hasbro's "plans" with heaps of salt.

Think of it in terms of estimating in reverse dog years. 40 is the plan, but 20-30 is more accurate after Hasbro drags ass until the back end of the line gets cut off. It's happened more years in a row than I care to remember and has gotten worse and worse every year, so if we get closer to the 30 I'll be surprised.

Here's how I see the plan going. FOC figures, currently scheduled for fall, will be pushed back to November and given a new feature package. By December 10 people will find them at retail and shortly after Christmas we'll get word the FOC figures were cancelled, but hey we'll still have a bunch of new Generations coming out...until that line falls short with it's best looking figures on the horizon getting cancelled the next year.

Maybe someone from Hasbro lurking about can chime in on this and make sure I got it all right!

On the topic, I admit, I haven't thought of it that much. We know we're getting an Arcee in this line, Hasbro hinted that out a long time ago. So that's one down.

Guess we can fill out any reasonable g1 characters. I pretty much have most of what I wanted in deluxe scale, unless they branch out to new sizes the rest I'd like to see is moot. Figures like Gears, Cosmos, Blitzwing etc...will be well received by me if they are made, but I don't pine for.

Perhaps updated Rhinox and Terrorsaur with Airrazor getting some consideration.

Maybe a better Energon Hot Shot without the combination gimmick. That might be a good place for a plethora of updates. Update those characters without the combination gimmicks.

I mean, it's getting to a point where it's tough to think of figures I'd like to see with updates, being the fact that they aren't that old to begin with. It's more for the sake of correcting something the past figures could have done better. In that regard, you could select them by throwing darts at pictures of old figures and landing on one that is good for consideration.

I guess at this point I just don't have anything that's really jumping out at me. Maybe when I have more time to really think about it I'll come up with some but like I said, without some changes in size classes, it's tough.

I just want:

Soundwave

all the cassettes - sans ravage since we have him

Trailbreaker

Hoist

Gears

Huffer

Shockwave

Omega Supreme (though I have a wicked awesome kitbash I made)

Blitzwing

I'd swtich Dai Atlas with Sixshot up there. Dai Atlas has always been a large TF, even his G1. Forget that Alternity one.

Voyager Grimlock and Dinobots,

Combiners Arielbots, Stunticons, Technobots

A Hasbro version of the Constructicons done right with the Hasbro tyouch! (I know you can do it Hasbro!! :D)

Trailbreaker, Gears, Cosmos (Since the plans have already been laid out for that guy, why not go the full distance.) Rumble and Frenzy...I could go on... :)

I hope you're all ready for a large chunk of that 40 figures being Cyberverse. Cuz you gotta feel that they're coming. Small figures, larger price than their size, PROFIT COWS.

Oh yeah. They're coming!

Not sure if I can do 40, but let's see . . .

All deluxe, of course

Nightbeat

Minerva, the obvious repaint

Powermaster Optimus Prime (with 3rd party trailer from Fansproject to complete the supermode)

Ginrai (I'm sure they evoke the Masterforce character while making the deco different from PMOP)

Scourge (RTS Optimus repaint)

Cybertron series Hot Shot (Classics Rodimus repaint)

Springer

Pretender monsters, capable of forming Monstructor

Windcharger, since I've never even seen the RTS release

Ricochet, from RTS Jazz

Armada Red Alert, retaining the disc launcher but losing the sound package

Waspinator

1. Rhinox

2. Star Saber

3. Victory Leo

4. Dai Atlas

5. Triggerhappy

6. Chromedome

7. Cybertron Scourge

8. Fort Max

9. Snarl

10. Sludge

11. Swoop

12. Slag

13. Nightbeat

14. Blitzwing

15. Springer

16. Trailblazer

17. Hoist

18. Gears

19. Pipes

20. Brawn

21. Cosmos

22. Iquanus

23. Submurauder

24. Ginrai

25. RID X Brawn

26. RID Prowl

27. Ultra Magnus

28. slugslinger

29. skids

30. Sandstorm

31. weird wolf

32. Topspin

33. twintwist

34. Mindwipe

35. Darkwing

36. Dreadwind

37. Doubledealer

38. Blaster

39. beachcomber

40. Apeface

I hope you're all ready for a large chunk of that 40 figures being Cyberverse. Cuz you gotta feel that they're coming. Small figures, larger price than their size, PROFIT COWS.

Oh yeah. They're coming!

Cyber verse figures being created for some of the 40 generations 2013 toy,I just don't see happening.

were definatelly gonna see a bunch of legends & basic sized generations toys in 2013.

I just don't see it making sense to create a bunch of cyber verse styled play sets for some of the 40 generations 2013 toy. because generations was & is always billed & created for the fan base. Clearly hasbro creates the cyber verse play sets for the toddlers to enjoy playing with.

my solid guess is that the 40 generations new molds in 2013 will have a lot of combiner teams in them, all sold seperatly by size class.
