So attempting to pull the blades out of the gauntlets, one of the tabs just broke off. I was pulling forward with it and being careful but the slot is so tight the tab on the blade just could not come lose and BAM.

I tried contacting FP to inquire about a replacement but the email has bounced back, so I'm stuck for the time being. I don't want to super glue it for obvious reasons. Anyone else having this particular issue? Any suggestions?

There has actually been ALOT of issues regarding this over on Fansproject's Facebook page. There has been even people stating that their blades have broke right out of the box. So hopefully FP addresses the issue soon and offer's replacements. It's not like FP to have this many QA issues with their products.

That sucks.

What is the obvious reason you dont want to superglue it together? Sorry if its that obvious, but I am missing it.

@Omega: D'oh, forgot about their FB page. I'll have to go throw my .02 over there as well. Thanks!

@Jeffafa: Super gluing it would work to make it semi whole again, but I doubt it would hold together if I wanted to put the blade back in as it was in the gauntlet. I suppose I could alter the port(s) on the gauntlet to not be so tight but at 50USD a figure, I'm hesitant on screwing them up and making them too big. It would most likely be fine for the huge shuriken or the mandibles in alt mode. That and the stigma of of seeing it and knowing it, silly things like that.

yea, all these pegs are super tight... I was nervous when TFing mine.

I would remove the peg, shave it down a little where it's not so tight and superglue it back on. superglue will hold just fine, but not with them as tight as they are normally.

Supergluing also sucks when you start playing with the toy too. :( This is why I prefer buying TFs from brick and mortar stores... something breaks, I bring it back for a refund/exchange lickety split. I hope you get compensated though, Transmitte. If not, then you should lodge a complaint to the Fair Trade Ombudsman or whatever your regional equivalent is that protects consumer rights.

That would be the better choice to be able to return it directly but yeah, thems the breaks with items of this nature. Honestly I'm not to upset about it but would like to get some resolution from FP, they've really had some outstanding products so far and this is the first issue I've had, so their track record is pretty solid. As I posted over on their FB page, hopefully they'll take some cues from TFC and work something out for the fans with these issues. If they don't, then I'll consider other avenues of resolution.
