Tripredacus, how can you say the market is bad? It's a dream come true for me. I'll be buying my first house next year, And plenty of Wallspace, I'll have 2 rooms devoted to Transformers

 

Oh the buying market is fine! Its the selling market, especially in my neighborhood. We've already had one contingent contract expire on a totally awesome house because nothing sells around here.

Now after I accidentally detoured the topic, I'm going to put it back on topic

 

One figure from DOTM has struck me as complete crap and why did I buy it

 

1) Deluxe Ratchet, I like the deluxe Ratchet from ROTF so I thought the DOTM would be good, man it is nothing but crap.

2) Razorbeast from BW is crap cause of the paint job, yet Randy from Takara is one bad ass figure

I got the red rescue ratchet repaint, Pause, and I actually prefer it over the ROTF version.

 

As for Razorbeast, the Randy Takara figure is more detailed, but I got mine because I wanted one that matched up with the IDW version

 

And I am kicking myself for selling my 2005 Botcon Primal and my G1 Mega Pretender Vroom complete with tech specs and red plastic viewy thingy.

Doesn't Randy suffer from the GPS? I saw that horrific video on Youtube of the guy crushing his Randy with one hand. :eek

When I got Randy, as soon as I opened the toy and took it out of the tray, a big piece of his gold plastic came off!!

 

I've never sold a toy that I later regretted selling... because I simply would never part with a toy that I cherished. I only sell or trade toys that I don't cherish... if I think that I might miss the toy later on, then I won't sell it. Also, I seldomly buy toys that I don't expect to enjoy. As a result I very rare sell/trade my toys. So erm... yeah, I don't get how people can sell stuff and regret it later... surely if something's precious to you then you wouldn't part with it.

 

Unless...

+ You were forced to part with the toys as a child by your parents (if my parents ever did that, I would never forgive them -- I've still never forgiven my father for throwing away my Beast Wars Inferno box back in 1998 - and that was just the box! Ggrrrr!!)

+ You were going through tough times and desperately needed cash. And you'd already donated a kidney. ;p
