Michael Bay recycled older movie scenes for DOTM!

Wait, are these scenes the same exact ones that have been slightly altered, or did Michael Bay just recreate them for Transformers?

Exact same scenes, just with new effects added to them.

I dont think its fair to give him an ok pass based on it being done in Star Wars. As far as movie magic has come I don't think there is an excuse for it. Either bad direction didn't give him the shots that he needed during post-production and thus he had to go back to older movies or he's just lazy.

Good eye to whoever caught that.

You guys do realize that he added these scenes in because they had to stop filming this part of the movie due to an extra being severely injured in the head and I guess this part of the highway is notorious for being very dangerous. Which begs the question: why did he film this scene at this location in the first place? Anyways, he needed to finish this chase scene; which is why he pulled from his other movies. At least this is all according to IGN.com. Pretty ingenious if you ask me. Although, I do hope that extra is doing okay?

Ugh! Well that sucks. I wonder if she has a lawsuit case on her hands, if she decides to sue Michael Bay and company? Probably not as she probably had to sign some insurance waiver or something. :redface
