Michael Bay recycled older movie scenes for DOTM!

This just shows how little people cared about The Island and Michael Bay's irrelevance prior to the Transformers movies. Hasbro may be thanking him, but he should be thanking Hasbro.

I really wouldn't call it lazy. It was actually smart film-making if you ask me. Directors have done this a lot throughout the years. Even "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" use some of the same exact scenes.

Although "The Island" was arguebly Michael Bay's BEST film, it was his worst Box Office Ticket sales wise, so not a whole lot of people saw the film/car chase sequence.

What scenes in Star Wars? i've never noticed anything recycled between the two other than sound effects?

I've watched The Island a few times. its actually pretty good. i would have never even picked up on these scenes being recycled though.

Cutaway scenes with Lukes X-Wing flying off into space if I remember correctly.
