IGear PP05 Ironhide Size Comparison

Recommended Posts

IGear has posted comparison shots of their upcoming Partner Product PP05 Ironhide and Ratchet with Masterpiece MP-01 Optimus Prime and Transformers Classics Optimus Prime! The figure, as previously reported will be the scale of the Transformers Classics line. We are on hand this weekend at BotCon 2011 and we will be stopping by the TFSource booth to check out what their big announcement is all about, so stay tuned! Read the Full News Story Here

Pretty sure that's their scaled down MP Prime, not the Hasbro/Takara version. Ironhide is 6.9" tall and there's no way that MP Prime is 5.1" taller. Really wish they made this deluxe scale, at this size the only thing it's really in scale with is their own MPs. What we really need now is a bigger Classics Prime and Megatron so they aren't being dwarfed by or on par with smaller characters.

Yeah, you can tell because there is no autobot symbol n primes arm.

Answered my question about the scale. Now I hope he's not crazy expensive. ^_^

That's right, it's Faith Leader not MP-01. Thank goodness they're not Deluxe size - sorry but we already have a Deluxe Classics Ratchet and Ironhide! The size is perfect (if anything they could have done with being a touch bigger, but I can live with them as is). What's important is they will fit right in with MP Prime (MP-10 more than MP-01) and the Alternator/BT bots. Alt mode may look slightly small next to an Alt car, but then again these were always minivans, and some minivans in real life are surprisingly tiny.

I can't believe how excited I am for these things, they can't come soon enough!! :love

How tall is MP OP official? I'm at work and can't measure him. I have him in Alt mode anyways. Would be nice to know how big this one is compared to the Real OP.. :tfevil

I am pretty sure I will be getting these when they are available or order. They come with so many accessories. I hope they give an extra set of Articulated hands for each. Static hands are nice, but this kind of figure needs to have at least Alternator hands if not MP treatment. :yay
