I wonder if the Ford Mustang will be the present version or the new 2005 version....

That Ram truck is very cool....I could see them using that as a Decepticon though. Motormaster maybe.....

The Walmart listing said it's a 2005 Mustang. Kind of nice to see Hasbro/Takara get the rights to a design at the start of it's lifespan.

Downside is we'll almost definately see it repainted.

Yup the Ram is cool, but I hope they dont turn Trailbreaker out as an SRT Ram - his main weakness was his lack of speed if i recall correctly.

I hope its the "05 Stang, that is the first stang to look really good since the '73's and they started making those damn Pinto mustangs. As to the Dodge Ram, using an SRT-10 as Trailbreaker wouldnt make any sense, since that name implies he's and off-roader, and a 2wd truck does not an offroader make. If its a Ram 4x4, then fine, but if it is an SRT-10 then either Kup or Ironhide make the most sense. I never liked a minivan for I.H's personality anyway. But a Motormaster version would seriously dent some hiney too....

Yeah, I would love Motormaster as the Dodge pickup. That sweet semi truck lookin' front end of the truck would fit the character pretty well too.

Mind you, anyone remember the probs Sony had with Gran Turismo 2?

It had almost every major car manufacturer but Ferrari couldnt (due to a contract with Sega...which a friend of a friend of mine was making the game for!) and nor could Porshe, SAAB or Volvo!

Needless to say, people were perplexed, but then, the average kid, when looking at all the other cool cars, couldnt give a rats ass when there are so many better options.

Perhaps it isnt now, but if companies snub the general public in circumstances like this, then it IS, in mty opinion, detremental.

Nowadays the whole "supercar" market has deflated to a fraction of what it used to be and if a company isnt in the public eye and the imagination, then it will suffer.

Im sure Tfs wont make or break a company, but mark my words, Hasbro will probably be working closely with car manufactures that signed up more often in the future. Then VW will probably fire the prick eho signed "no" in the tiny box that said "do you want to make lots of money and be in the hearts and minds of little kids for eternity?"

Then again, I could be wrong...just a rant, is all..

I'll be buying them all no matter the names as i love the alternators... my only question is am i the only person who could care less if a bumblebee figure is made???

Nope, have no love or what-so-ever for Bumblebee. Even gave mine away back in the eighties. Really despised Bumblebee -- and cheetor, since he reminded me of Bumblebee.

Let's be honest, Bumblebee was in the show to draw in the little kiddies and the girlies (e.g. my two younger sisters liked Bumblebee). If you were Spike, would you always ride in Bumblebee? I wouldn't...you've got Sideswipe and all those other cool looking cars and you ride in a beegle?!

Just skip Bumblebee and release other characters.

I don't really see Sideswipe as having time to be bothered with humans. Even Spike. Sideswipe would feel hampered if he had to roll a human around. He was a straight up warrior that liked to show off. Where as Bumble be was more defenseless and small.
