You know, car companies in the states who already have altinators of their cars would do them selves right by having commercials like these.

 

What Europe and Japan have figured out is that car commercials litteraly SUCK!

 

Mazda should have had their Zoom Zoom on the TV instead of the Web.

 

The altinators could a great marketing tool to sell their cars, if only, they just do the transforming commercials!!!!

Im guessing the robot commercials appeal to more peeps who have internet access than to TV audiences, who would be "confused".

 

Its like when some companies place different ads in different magazines. Mainstream TV has a much broader appeal and so Car companies might not want their audience to think the car is a "boys toy".

So I mailed Citroën Germany about the commercial, which airs on German TV since yesterday. Their response (translated from German):

 

Sorry, we currently do not have any concrete plans in these regards.

 

But maybe, it will happen, probably even due to your inquiry, which we would love to forward to our parent company.

 

At least not the vague wording we've been used to from MINI.
