...I deicided to take a 25 minute trip to place called Thomasville, its a small town but has a 24 hour open Walmart. I went because I wanted to first take back my Alternator Tracks and exchange it for Alterantor Meister.

 

Well apon entering the Transformers area I saw first that there was no new Alts. Then I looked closer and there was a Blue and White colored Beachcomber. I was like whaat? Maybe this is old or something? So I looked even more and there was Grimlock and Swoop 2 Pack!!! To make it even more amazing there was...

 

WING SABER!!! :eek :tflaugh1 :clap :tflaugh

 

So I said to myself... "Must.. Get.. Wing Saber!!!" So I traded in my Alt. Tracks for him. Both the same price.

 

That is my story and to make it even more amazing I am probally the first person on the boards that has found all 3 at one place!!! I am going back tomorrow (Friday the 12th) to get Grimlock and Swoop.

 

The Beachcomber repaint is cool, it looks a little bit better than the brown colored Energon Beachcomber, but nothing I liked too much. Just happy new stuff was there and thatm that was one of the new items.

 

The Grimlock and Swoop 2 Pack are sweet. There in the same size box as Beachcomber/ShockWave/Dreadwing, ect. And they are really big. I figure with the 2 combined they would be an inch or more taller than Alt. Silverstreak. If not the same size or even taller!

 

But they didn't really look that great. The combined mode is kind of out there looking and Grimlock just has this huge head in beast mode and looks cheap with its paint. I only want Swoop. :redface

 

Haven't seen Omega Sentinel yet and I have been everywhere! Here's where I have been the past week...

But onto Wing Saber... WOW!!! He looks soooooo cool in the package I was afraid to open him. Jet mode is huge, robot mode is huge. Not to poseable and I can change between the 2 in like within 20 seconds. Really fun though to trasnform.

 

He is a must get toy! Even if you don't like Optimus Prime like me... Both his modes are sick.

what color is Wing Saber's face?

I agree with the Grimlock/Swoop analysis. I too am buying it mainly for Swoop.

Wingsaber's face is goldish with green eyes. He's plenty of fun, but if articulation is your thing, I don't think you'll like him.

Who cares about articulation? I want fun toys not super posable lame-nation.

Dunno. It's hard to believe the kids are going gaga over Ironhide, especially when he's such a lame figure AND such a lame character in the show. Blech all around!

Plus, didn't they learn their lesson shipping the original Ironhide in almost every previous case assortment? Most places ended up with about twenty of 'em and not one of the others.

Well the Energon Ironhide Repaint is a LOT better than the original. I have the toy and it looks a lot cooler. I have some pics if anyone doesn't own it and wants to see it in robot mode.

 

Well after looking at the forums again today seeing how some people have found the Energon Combiners. I took a hour to go to 4, yes 4 Targets. And I found C1, C2, A1, and A2 Combiners!!! Thats 2 for Constructicon and 2 for Superion.

You'd think Hasbro would wake up and realize that fans have been desperate for figures like Shockblast or Mirage/Dreadwing and pack one of those guys with them. I just don't get how they could think that so many people would want Ironhide knowing that tons of the original color are still warming shelves from coast to coast.

 

I can see the next case assortment now...2 Ironhides, recolor Jetfire, and Sixshot...Watch...it'll happen! :tard
