I had to go with Armada Prime, and though I own two of him (regular and powerlinx prime) I still think he is worse then Energon Prime. Energon prime in super mode has moveable legs, and not some pedestal that looks like legs. Plus on top of that, the supermode head, though just a helmet, resembles prime alot more then the Armada Super Prime Head.

 

Personally I think that the worst primes were

Machine wars Prime

Gobot Prime

& Powermaster prime...

in that order.

While the tiny mode of Armada is better for Prime, the supermode is better for Energon Prime. And I just hate his fishhead in Armada supermode.

Gobot Prime was worse than either of these, and I don't really think Powermaster prime is all that great either.

I liked A Prime.. dunno why.. guess cuz all the parts of him were used for something. I never cared much for that whole trailer gig. I mean, it's nice, but if it doesn't do much it kind of takes up space.. Super mode was cool in that way that the trailer was more than just a base. Not much poseability in it though.. I voted E prime the worst of em. I still can't see the draw of it.

IMHO both are bad examples of Prime. D for effort and F- for execution, engineering and the colors. And for the record I liked PowerMaster Prime! :fmad

I agree. Powermaster Optimus Prime was awesome when it first came out. (FIRST SHOW-ACCURATE ROBOT / TRUCK MODE PRIME EVAH!! :thumb) Keep in mind that the ONLY Optimus Prime toy up to that point was the original 1984 figure, and he was starting to look pretty dated next to some of the later G1 figures. And along comes Powermaster Prime, and he just PWNed.

 

Of course he's a brick by today's standards, but that's really not fair.

 

 

ANYWAY...

 

Tough call. I have to pick SUPAHPANTS Prime, if only because he has the capacity to look cool in another mode. Energon Prime has NO cool modes.

Both suck, but Armada Prime is the less sucky of the two.

Crap... I forgot I was voting for the worse of the two. I voted Armada Prime, but E-Prime sucks a helluva lot more.

Well I don't own Superpants Prime but I have played with a friend's. I like the regular bot mode but I hate the Super mode, legs are just bricks. And his Super mode head is ugly so I just bought bendy Prime wich is much better.

 

E. Prime is not the best Prime but to me he is enjoyable. He's got good articulation and looks decent in Super mode. IMO he looks awesome combined with Wing Saber.
