And just when I've given up on all retail stores, just when I've just about been finished with the tumultuous torrents of tyranical toy stores I followed my instincts and there he was in of all things in one of the cleanest K-Mart stores I've ever been to...Lassies and Gentlemen, I ...have ...found ...HIGHBROW!

I bought Highbrow today at Walmart, there were 5 on the shelf, along with 6 Cryo Fallens of which I picked up last week,

 

I think we are about to start seeing, Cryo Fallen, Highbrow, Strafe, Grappel, and Deep Dive everywhere

Strafe I'm on the fence about ... still not totally sure about the mold. Deep Dive I'll be ok passing on, but Grabble and Lugnut are the 2 I'm really hoping to find soon!

You think that would be the opposite though. With Target and Walmart, around, the kmarts should be immaculate who cares if there is no competition? Sorry Breaker, but I'm still surprised Kmart is even still around.

The Kmart here is so bad, that the parking lot is cleaner then the store

 

We had a meeting last week and our regional manager told us that K-Mart Corp is up like 2 or 3% in profits, the first time we've been up since the 90's when K-Mart was bought by Sears. And were actually starting to make more money then Sears. My store is one of only 9 to get mattresses in, trying to eat into Sears even more. Thats why we also carry appliances now like fridges/washers. I think theres about to be a showdown.

My Kmart Just got in the washers and such. I used to hate going there cause their Ac wasn't working for like 6 Months. Now that its fixed I don't mind Kmart as much. As for the store itself its hit and miss. Some weeks they are dirty others clean. Tf wise they get all the new stuff faster then the Walmart across the street. But their Electronics department suck they are always out of Merchandise. Its like they order 1 case of a product and nothing more. Ohh I have a crazy Question The KMart used to say Super Kmart. But Recently They took the Super part off. Is that something Kmart is doing now? Also Why do they only open the snack bar for an hr a day? I keep trying to get an icee from that store but never find it open.

 

Yeah I dont know the specifics or can speak for other stores but our distributor is TERRIBLE. They'll send us mountains of the same item and then just one of everything else. Then all that extra stuff sits around forever. Its worse for toys. We still have The Last Airbender toys for crying out loud. We also got way more Tron then seems humanly possible. Im not sure about the Super thing, ours is a Big Kmart.

 

Snack bar? We have those? :tflaugh We had a Little Caesars for years but they got shut down a few weeks ago. A new one opened up the street and cut into their profits 50%. Now the place is just wasted space in the store. You have to walk down the street a bit to McDonalds to get a bite if your into that :/.

Lugnut is cool but I think you can appreciate it more if your a fan of Animated. His Animated figure is just OK at best and the more realistic version is much better. I think he helps diversify the line just a little that way. I loved Lugnut's character. He's an uber badass that didnt carry over anything in the legacy of his name, he was brand new that way. Seeing him in a more realistic form helps cement that badassery. Thats all my opinion of course. Just be careful at the range, he might shoot back :tflaugh

Then that is probably the reason why I don't care for it, As far as a bad ass? ok so he would fight with bulkhead over who was first in line at the all you can eat buffet

As for Strafe, he's a decent mold, but it always looked like it was too simple, and had too much Kibble, so I actually passed on the Mindwipe mold the first time around. I like the fact that he's got the Strafe name, so I might consider him. I dunno, what's your guys' opinion on the mold in general?

 

And Breaker pretty much nailed my reason for Lugnut, even though I wasn't a huge animated fan. I like the older style war planes being used as well, and Animated Lugnut was too cartoony for my liking (yeah I know, that's how Animated was). I like Highbrow alright, there's just something about him that seems unfinished or not fully thought out, I can't quite pinpoint it. He's not like "Oh my god, I HAVE to have him" but I would like to pick him up. Grapple on the other hand is the one (out of the voyagers) I'm really looking forward to that's left before the movie starts up.

 

And for the love of god, don't let anyone in Asia here you mention Pokeformers .... that would just give them all sorts of ideas. Taking 2 of their biggest names and combining them?!? Please for the love of ... !!! :tflaugh
