A source of multiple leaked images of figures purportedly from the Transformers: Dark of the Moon toyline has posted two new images of what appears to be a Human Alliance Basic figure. The figures shown in the images posted by DOTM Toys appears to be a Human Alliance Basic set with a helicopter alternate mode. Like the previous Human Alliance Basic Dune Buggy, the figure includes a G.I. Joe-like human figure, seated in the cockpit of the helicopter. It is unknown if this figure is a triple-changer like the Dune Buggy or not. Take a look at the mirrored images at ACToys and discuss it in the forums! Read the Full News Story Here

I wonder if those are G.I. Joe sized figures? The HA figs are ok but they always seem like some cheap Dollar store Ko next to my Joes.

This.

Can we stop calling the HA humans G.I. Joe-like? It just seems like misinformation by calling them G.I. Joe like. Someone will see it, and start going on that Hasbro is finally doing a G.I. Joe / Transformers crossover, when they're not.

Not to mention, there's big differences in the figures: HA Humans are a smaller scale + less articulated than actual G.I. Joes.

They're just generic (or possibly N.E.S.T.) human soldiers.

Is that the official name for these Human Alliance figures? HA Basic? That helicopter the more and more i look at it just looks like Whirl as Blitzwing said earlier

If these are basic size, those figures look more on par with MASK or even Starcom/Air-Raiders scale.

:schin.....how articulated were MASK and / or Starcom figures? Anyone try to put MASK figures inside a HA figure? or even a BT / AT?

Instead of MASK they could call them HELMET

Highly Evolved Light Mechanized Extraction Transformers XD

If I remember they're about the same size, same articulation..but HA figures have a better range due to balljoints in the legs. (Air Raiders didn't have knee joints, though.)

I'm sorry if I ruffle some feathers with this post, but please stop comparing these figures to G.I. Joe figures. One, if these were "like" G.I. Joe figures, the transformers would be leader class size. Two, the new G.I. Joe line has to be the best thing Hasbro has put out in a while with the combination of sculpt, articulation, and accessories. Comparing these two figures is an insult. I am both a fan of G.I. Joe and Transformers the same, but come on people, get real. If you look at past years, every release for movie based figures sees the quality drop tremendously (mass production). Same goes for G.I. Joe. We as collectors get the better quality in between the movies like the current Joe line and the Generations and Reveal the Shield lines fro Transformers.

This is far fetched, but I would like to think that this may be Hasbro's attempt to try and figure out how to resurrect the M.A.S.K. line.
