He looks a little better. Looks like a FAB or something to me.

It's Gimmick induced, and Transforms, but I wouldn't say its going to be an actual figure in the Voyager or leader class

Color me not impressed with this figure!

 

What the &%$#! Why is it that all voyager class Optimuses (except for BB Prime) have what I call "False Transformation!" (Where a Transformer has a part on there robot mode that is suppose to represent a certain part in there alternate mode, but has little, if any, resemblance to the actual part in that alternate mode.)

 

Blame G1. Prime's had false parts since PM Prime. Plenty of time to get used to it.

 

 

It's not just Optimus who has these problems. Animated Bumblebee had that too, and even the MP Rodimus had that issue! The hood of the Rodimus alternate mode is not the same at the Rodimus robot mode chest! Heck, the vehicle mode hood is just a completely separate piece! hiiden under the trailer in eery other mode! Gosh, what is wrong with Hasbro?!

 

 

That transformation is epic!!!!

OPTIMUS: "Remember that massager we talked about?"

 

MEGATRON: "Yeah?"

 

OPTIMUS: "We got two of them!"

 

MEGATRON: "Suhweeeett!"

Robot mode looks good but I don't know what to make of the 2 vibrators on his shoulders. I just bought BB Prime and it's definitely better looking than this version. I'll pass on this one.

Ugh. I'll stick with my Bust Optimus Prime thank you very much. Then again, that is the Voyager, hopefully the Leader version will be much better.
