While your opinion is a strange one, but merrited, i highly doubt this will be a "shelf warmer". Only because these are basically kids toys, it looks like its coming out before christmas, and kids :love dinosaurs! Not to mention Geewuners like dinobots (like myself). And this looks to be a awesome dinobot. :thumb

 

Me? I think as long as this set holds together (praises god for hope), i will be onboard with this 100%. While i have not been on board past 50% with ANY other PCC, be it 2 pack or 5 pack, yet.

 

So far the only PCC whether 5 pack or 2 pack that is not a shelfwarmer where I am is Bombshock. You can find all the Wave 1's and Wave 2's here except for Bombshock. Which is why I am glad I picked him up before he sold out.

Its not a mix of Triceratops but its own species. When the set was first revealed at Botcon I looked it up and posted it but I forget now.

I had thought Chasmosaurus as well, but from this angle it looks like it may just be a Triceratops with a poorly aligned (or transformed) crest and exaggerated ridge spikes.

To me, the only good PCC combined modes are Bombshock, Grimstone, and the upcoming Constructicon set. I look for symmetry and whether or not it has hands, or a reasonable interpretation of hands.

 

Me too! Ok, and the Destrons look 'ok. :shrug But could use better drones, same color (like the :bot cars but dark with ALL PURPLE :con symbols. ;)

Holy shit! There have been NO Bombshock or Airialbot PCC 5 packs sold in my area! Ok maybe like 2. Walmart got in like 8 at first, sold one (2 months ago), got another 8 or each and sold another one. There are currently 14 Bombshocks at my walmart. Kmart looks to have sold nothing. But then Kmart has ALL the new toys out except the Pursuit of Cobra and anything other then B.O.Bee, and the wave 1 PCC combiners. NO HFTD or Generations at all have shown up at Kmart. Oh wait, they have their exclusive 5 pack legends ROTF though (which looks cool).

 

But then again we live in diff places i guess (yours i take it is better for toys like has a Target and TRU?)

 

I did get Bombshock but felt his drones fell apart/off to easily, so i returned him. I may even return the 5 pack wave 2's as well, and just go for the constructicons and dinobots.

I got Target TRU, Walmart, and the kmart which I don't bother with. Never had a problem with Bombshock's drones falling off. He is more sturdy then Skyburst

My Bombshock stays together as well. It fell over a few times and the only thing that happened is folded arm on the central robot got knocked out of its peg. And that was only on the left arm, the right arm stayed in place.

Well in Phoenix you can find ALL the PCC combiners that are out. ALL of them. They are all $15 as well. They sold out when they were first released, but I guess all the WalMarts and Targets around here bought a ton of them as they are all now kind of sitting. I still find Tuner Mudflaps everywhere. I am so glad that I don't have to look at those ROTF figures anymore. Just no more Ravages or BB for a while hasbro okay?

 

I predict thought that these will be one of the hottest toys this Christmas as you get 5 figures and they combine for $15. Grimestone will be really hard to find, but that depends on how many they make and how many are in the box when they are shipped. If it's one per case and the rest are the others, he's going to be really hard to find.

When I had the guy at walmart open the box when I bought Bombshock early. It was 3 Bombshocks and 3 Skybursts. Chances are it will be the same with Grimstone and Steamhammer
