The plot begins to thicken just a bit more as Transformers 3 (Dark of the Moon) continues its filming here in Washington DC. During the day yesterday, local ABC affiliate WJLA reporter Rebecca Cooper, Director Michael Bay, and a small film crew were spotted on the National Mall filming a faux news report. Ms. Cooper will portray a CNN correspondent that covers the Capitol Hill news. Read more Read the Full News Story Here

They can't go home. They foolishly crashed themselves into the Earth like meteors and have no means to propel themselves back into space.

I'm sure, one day, when I get around to it, I'll skim through this on Netflix. Maybe.

They can't go home. They foolishly crashed themselves into the Earth like meteors and have no means to propel themselves back into space.

If they were able to propel themselves off of Cybertron and into space, then I'm sure they can find means to do the same from Earth.

You're right. This being a Michael Bay movie, the Transformers can use energon farts.

You do realize that the transformers can go back anytime they please. See, when the transformers first came to earth, they had some kind of exoskeleton on. When they scanned their vehicle, the exoskeleton gathered some raw materials to help gather the necessities to complete the scaning process, and to help cover and protect the exoskeleton, so when they need to leave, they just take off the extra... weight.

Remember at the end of the first movie Starscream flew into space? They are their own ships

That somehow can't land properly? Even us puny humans learned how to not crash land from space.

Starscream could have droped all of his extra... weight, but since he transformed into a jet, there really was no need in doing so. Transformers that can't fly like Optimus, Bumblebee, Ironhide, who can't fly in any sort of way, would need to drop of all of the extra weight in order to leave Earth.

Kinda sounds like you're saying that they can just "float" away lol. They would still need some type of propulsion element to them, and since they can't fly, I would take that as them not being able to fly in any form. Maybe they were launched like cannonballs out of a cannon back on Cybertron (being completely facetious).
