Classics/Universe stuff comes out the package. My G1 re-issues I open, apply stickers, transform a few times then stick them back in their boxes. The re-issue/Encore releases have boxes which make them great display pieces, figures packaged on a cardback like classics, not so much.

My old collection I used to only take the ones out of the package that were in vehicle mode. I love displaying them in robot mode.

I take them out and display them

I am terrified of the thought of dust, bacteria or fecal matter touching my figures or their packaging. So I shrink wrap the figures in package, then place them in an air tight room that acts as a time capsule. In a few years I'll send them all to AFA to get them graded, then sell them to buy a house and car made out of solid gold....

OK I'm bull shitting. I take all of my figures out of their packages. They're toys, not Museum pieces :tflaugh

My new stuff is opened because i don't have space for the bubbles and boxes anymore. I'd rather keep them in a box or bubble opened because i like the way the figs look in the original packaging. The old g1 stuff stays sealed or mib, moc.

Open them up and transform them most of the time. Old stuff and re-issues stay in the box. And as a rule, I generally keep the instructions as well, never know when I'll forget how to transform something or have to match up some loose weapons/accessories.

OUT!! Out of their cardboard prison!!

I'm a MOSC/MISB collector but I have two boys (8 & 6 years old) who love Transformers ('cause daddy says so damnit!) so I get my fill of playing and transforming with them. I've spent long rainy days transforming their entire collections back and forth for them to my great joy. Since they're a little bit older now and can do alot of it themselves I don't get as much of an opportunity to do it as I use to but that's okay. If there's one I just have to play with I buy it for one of them and my collection stays mint!

And as anyone with kids knows, if you buy for one you have to buy for the other....

I take them out of the package and bask in their engineered glory...
