I favor Binaltech, however I mix and match also, since there are figures released in BT that are not in Alternators and vice versa. But for the ones that are in both. It is a no brainer Binaltech all the way

yah I took a look at their site a couple days ago, Im curious. Are these basic stickers of a higher quality or are they model type stickers that require water etc.

Peel and stick but VERY HIGH QUALITY. I dont normally endorse or buy 3rd party products, but considering I bought a second Animated Blazing Lockdown AND Stealth Lockdown JUST to use the Reprolabels set should show you what quality to expect..

The binaltech line was what got me back in to TFs... I read about them in the newspaper, and I was like oh hell yes I will get these. I've never regretted any of my binaltech purchases (although Prime is not my favorite). I ventured into Alternator territory, and picked up all of them, picked up like 2 or 3 of every alternator, but after a while I got annoyed by the plastic feel and lack of color vibrancy, especially when displayed next to an alternator. I ended up selling all my alternators, keeping just a white Mesiter I reprolabeled. I still have all my Binaltechs and Kiss ones. One BIG REGRET I have is my first wave of binaltechs I took out of the boxes and had on display, and looked at all the empty boxes and just decided to throw them out. Now, I really regret chucking all those boxes. Not the worst thing, I have replaced my MISB set, but still, a big DOH!!! on my part!

 

So, my $0.02 is, go for the metal, baby!

One thing I'm noticing on eBay is anything it is an auction is going for a good $10-20 cheaper then buy its nows, and even more in some cases, rumble last night for example went for $30. I got Alt Prowl for Less then 45 shipped thanks to auction MISB, which wil be opened. In his case I went alt for the Police labels etc, but Im thinking about going after a BT Red Alrt too. Haven't seen many Binaltechs and their ending prices just yet but I have a feeling that may be my best option, will just take ALOT long to find and give me a chance to find some other stuff, like RiD Prime and Magnus >.>

I find myself trying to decide if getting the figures MISB is so necessary with this line since they'll be so expensive and Ill end up opening them anyway. Most times I really want to be the first to break the seal but not sure so much because of the price with Binaltech.

I hate MISB collectors... Why buy a transforming robot if you dont want to you know transform it? Makes as much sense as MISB Games collecting.
