I was watching Pawn Stars last night and there was this guy wanting to sell his very nice Tformer collection. After watching the episode I was curious if he was a member of the forums. So if you are out here, just wanted to give you a shout out that you have a nice collection and wondering if you ever got it sold.

The same thought ran through my head to, being that he could clean house real quick at forum sites. But I thought what the hell.

I think Chumly would have bought that whole collection if he could. From the way he looked at it, he really did want to take it with him. If I had the money I would have bought one of everything he had!

Yep, he'd lose quite a bit in seller fees with a collection that size. Not to mention, selling it bit by bit would be an assload of trips to the post office.

 

I would have thrown the pawn guy out of my house when he came with the $5000 offer. That's an insult for a collection like that.

 

Still, if you're out there, I'll give you $1500 for your MIB Fort Max! Assuming it's complete and has the styro insert, of course.

I didn't actualy give up on the idea, just converted it and have done very well trading via forums.

 

You avoid alot of the overhead and seller/buyer fees from sites like Ebay. Everyone being knowledgeable is also a bonus as deals get right to the point.

 

Concerning shipping, thats easy when trying to move alot of pieces. The post office will bring boxes to your house free of any and all charges.

You normaly get a discount if you pay your postage fees online.

Then, they'll even come back and pick up the shipments.

 

It's all really pretty simple.

Ive always wanted my own toy store, an online store seems like a easy step towards making that happen (dont need to rent out a building) but alas, its more complex then I have the time for atm.

Cant you make a free online store using google sites? Although there is still the paypal fees... although thats easy enough to fix, just price it a tiny bit above when you actually want for the figure, so that after fee's you end up with what you want.

I'm thinking he did have an online store, and he wasn't making enough. So he tried to sell it off off in one go. Or he has an online store and wanted a way to get noticed. So he pretended to want to sell it off
