Funny Energon Kicker and Highwire gallery

Honestly I have to agree with Behold and Body on this one.

I think you guys need to wait and see what the final product is like in "YOUR HANDS" instead of some photograph.

One detail I've noticrd is that the GI joe Kicker has "More Detail"! Lets look at that side by side pick again guys and gals. Notice the head sculpt has the "thingies" on the sides of the head where SL does not.

At carefull look the Joe figure just has more detail.

The SL is based off of Microman and while I love my micromen, they stay in their package cos they are fragile. The Joe is not fragile! Also because of the body mold system that Takara has, there seems to be this pattern of "One-Mold-fits-all" policy. I notice this in the Batman and cat woman figs as well as my Micromen and the same goes for SL Kicker. Most of this generic system is off-set by some good paint aps and a few accessories.

Just look at the wrists of the SL Kicker. It is the same standered wrist design that all Microman have. The Joe fig on the other hand has his own details cos thats what GI Joe does, they have their own molds for each figure (despite thresent past of using previous part from old molds).

Take a good look at that figure guys! On the SL the white armor parts are just painted on. On the GI Joe the white armor parts are bevaled into the mold. Just look at the legs!

The only thing new and original on the SL Kicker is the Head sculpt the chest pack and maybe the feet. The rest is standered issue Microman body. Now Look at the joe.......Unlike Takara, Hasbro went the full bar to make a completely new figure based on their GI Joe structure with detail that matches the cartoon.

I think Hasbro needs a well deserved hand for this. :clap :clap :clap

One last thing TFans, the is a 3/16 hight differance between the Joe and Microman with the Joe being smaller.

What that means is that the Joe fig should fit well on Arcee since it is smaller and getting High Wire for your SL Kicker will mean getting your SL Kicker a real small bike.

If you want the red paint, just paint it on.

I for one can't wait for this figure!!!!!!!!

Gah! The Joe looks gorgeous, but it's hurtin' somethin' fierce for some red! If the Joe had the proper paint apps then this wouldn't even be a contest, but I see that being the Microman's only saving grace. He's fragile as hell, but at least he's colored right.

I'm sold on Kicker, but other than testing him out with my Joe vehicles I can't say there's really any incentive to go out of my way to get it if he's going to be as much of a pain tracking down as the rest of the Energon stuff seems to be these days.

Unless it is like a Joe Bike, you won't be putting him in any vehical with seats.

check out that spark crystal plug on his back!

I think it's cool, fits the whole using energon weapon thing, but then his hands won't beable to hold an energon weapon.

Oh well.

Gi-Joe Kicker still doesnt look... finished. But I am liking High Wirre, even if he's just a super sized minicon with one hand
