First 14 Minutes of Gameplay for Nintendo Wii Transformers Cybertron Adventures

Recommended Posts

Its a step in the wrong direction for them tho, eventually theyll slowly and gradually offer more and more to premium members until youll have to break down and get a premium membership or be left out in the cold. For PSN and the way it started, being free was its biggest appeal and a huge arguing point over its online supremacy over the 360 (which is a crappy argument but I wont start that), when they start charging for ANYTHING it cant be a good indication of how PSN is going to turn out down the road.

I may pay for my online service but I find that its a superior one. At least for me anyways. I just hate it when people try to say PSN is better, just because its free. That would be like saying Armada Sideswipe is better then ROTF Mindwipe because it's cheaper.

I just watched a video of Cybertron Adventures and I kind of like it. Reminds me of Sin and Punishment (to an extent)< I might just pick it up after all.

^^^ I'd like to make a slight change on my opinion of the game. Having given it a second chance and a longer play through, I don't hate it as much. Having calmed down from my original disappointment and frustration, the game isn't a bad game. It is a letdown that there isn't any free roaming/exploration and transforming though. Its a very short game, about 4 hours of game-play perhaps. It's a rent, especially if you're a Transformers fan. If you must buy it, wait until it's marked down or used. It isn't worth the full retail price though. Especially since it's so bare-bones (no online, free roaming).

I knew the Wii version wasn't going to be anything close to what the REAL(360/PS3) version is. It's a shame, because despite the graphical hit I would have preferred using the Wiimote to aim while running and gunning.

Well, it is finally here, folks: Transformers: War for Cybertron is available on Sony Playstation3, Microsoft XBox 360, and Nintendo DS tomorrow! We have heard a lot about these games, but unfortunately, we have not heard very much on the Nintendo Wii version Transformers: Cybertron Adventures. Now, thanks to contranetwork, we have the first fourteen (14) minutes of gameplay of the video game. Judging from the game footage, it seems like the game is a shooter on rails video game with a twist. To view the footage and what goes on in the game, jump through! Spoiler warning for those who do not want to know - at all. Read the Full News Story Here

I'm buying the PS3 version. I'm getting WFC Autobots for my DS lite. Damn it! A rail shooter actually sound like a lot of fun! I may wind up buying this game three times. For the Wii version I may wait until it goes on markdown.

I have a 360 version on preorder, but I may get the Wii version someday as well! This looks pretty cool!

After playing the demo there is no way to emulate that control scheme on a Wiimote. Unless you sacrifice some things like perhaps switching weapons, zooming in with scopes, abilities, jumping, etc.

Here's another video of the game in motion:

After watching that, that is exactly what rail shooters has been lacking: innovation.

Why couldnt we have this as a cartoon again?
