According to s250 over the Blue Botcon Megatron is Cindersaur

 

 

 

 

So for those of us who thought it would be a G2 Grimlock we were wrong

huh, G2 Grim just seemed like a sure bet, especialy with Cindersaur being purple and gold?

 

Guzzle is actualy closer, even still is not even close being grey and green.

 

Like I said in the other thread though, "Hasbro"

 

On one hand, I like the colors because they do highlight the details of the figure even though all of them aren't painted.

On that exact same note though, it's :puke to look at for to long.

 

While it still seems more suited colorwise(not figurewise) to G2 Grimlock, I'll just repeat myself "Hasbro"

No, you see the other 2 Firecons got recolored in garish colors for G2, but Cindersaur was skipped. So this is his garish recolor for G2. It makes sense. The one color pattern you shouldn't expect Cindersaur to be is purple and gold!

 

He's supposed to be the teammate of these two guys:

Mold: good. Color: REALLY bad!

Mold: good. + Color: REALLY bad = G2

 

So now considering where the missile fires on this mold, perhaps Cindersaur's new upgrade alt mode no longer shoots fire from his MOUTH?

:yay Someone else who Agrees with me. These things are HORID and FUGLY. Someone should go slap the people who came up with this idea. I mean walk up to them and grab them to from their Shirt and just shake them. While yelling out "Why are you doing this to the TF LINE!!!!" Oh wait that would be illegal. Unfortunately. I know email them 1000 emails Titled :Botcon 2010 saying the same thing "WHY!!!!"

I think they should have made it black and purple, with some orange and green, and used it as an homage to that G2 Megatron and Barney the Dinosaur. Both of them were products of the early '90s.

Funny thing is...the guys who came up with these ideas have stated that reactions like yours is exactly what they were going for with these figures. SO keep it up!

 

I for one was in College when the original G2 figures were coming out. The line had a ton of great molds and the color schemes just kept up with the times. Everybody was using wild day glow colors like this. Toys, clothes, hair syles etc. It was even more 80's than people think the 80's were. They wanted to pay Homage to that era (as it's the one era that to my knowledge their 25th anniversary classics 2.0 line barely touch on) and they have knocked the ball out of the park.

 

As far as this figure. Sorry but I do not see Cindersaur...or even Guzzle in this figure. Granted the only G2 Grimlock I see here is the Dino mode. No biggie though. Looking forward to getting this guy. Nice Color scheme.
