One more thing to keep in mind...although it seems like there's more Alt fans here than BTs...

Would they MAKE a Binaltech plane (regardless of scale) out of metal? I don't know, I would think it'd be a lot more difficult to make a nice big sturdy wing out of metal cost-effectively. They could do a plastic-metal mix, but I don't know if that would look very good on a plane, since there'd be much larger, flatter obvious areas of plastic if any was used, compared to the innocuous bits of plastic on the cars.

I'm not too familiar with the Gundam-ish type of transforming planes, but those are rugged and kibbly and detailed, and I think they tend to have tiny wings. I'm just picturing how Binaltech Starscream would work.

In following with G1 Practices, I would Love to see some Decepticons Done as Different Military Vehicles. The Original Seekers were around the Size of most AutoBot Cars (Nowhere NEAR accurate scale), But it WORKED!

Just don't try doing 'BroadSide' and it'll be Great! (And no more Frikkin' Cat Heads!!)

all they have to do is rework galaxy force/cyberton thundercracker and jetfire, make them a tad more realistic underneath, put then at the right size as the rest of the alts and voila! but hey what do i know, but those 2 are so close to jet alts perfection, just it can only be a matter of time, now where's my trucks?

Here's a 1/32 scale tank next to Silverstreak. It's still bigger ( like a tank should be ) but small enough that the bot mode won't be rediculous. They could make a larger price class for the tanks and jets, say $25-$30. They could resize the jets to make them about the same size as the tank. This one could be Megatron, and smaller tank models could be Blitzwing and Warpath.

Works for me :thumb

How tall is Shockblast and Dreadwing compared to the Alts. Shockwave never had an Earth form nor Scourge. I Really want Shockblast and Dreadwing so I was thinking I could just pretend they are Shockwave and Scourge.

I'm not as much a fan of scale as you might think from some of my other posts -- at least when it comes to toys. To me a 1:24 scale jet TF would just be ridiculously huge. RIDICULOUSLY huge. IMO you would be sacrificing a LOT in order to gain perfect matching scale, and I just don't think it's worth it. Even a 1:48 scale jet would be really large, as in Unicron large. I'd personally consider 1:64 scale jets to be much more realistic, in terms of actually seeing HasTak produce them. And that way they'd be much more "Alternator"-sized.

But who knows. This whole line seems a bit aimless to me. It's great to have these nice car Transformers and all, but is there a larger point to this?

I agree with LM; 1:24 scale is insane for JEts and the like. Let them be to scale with thier autobot counterparts robot modes.... that makes the most sense

I'd say keep them in scale and leave the jets alone. If they stick with cars, it might be the opportunity to give some of the lesser-know or less appreciated Decepticons a chance at "greatness." Get some of the names, like Tantrum or Rampage or even Motormaster again, and put them in the lineup.
