Which Transformers could you not live without?

Recommended Posts

I'm not going to sell any of my TF's. But I do know that when I die, my collection will end up being broken up by my kids.

We'll see in a few days when I get my Magnus upgrade but I think I could part with most of my collection which I'm planning to e-bay soon. My classics and Universe line though I can keep. I really love that line and want to make it as complete as possible.

i agree... none have so much of an attachment that I couldn't live without. No one but immediate family holds that priviledge.

That said... if you make it more like... there is a fire, and you can save only 1.. or a small handful... etc... ie, which are most important to me....

1) BT Grimlock (love that mustang and character)

2) BT Nemesis (simply because he's so valuable, and is my only MISB, and would be the hardest to replace)

3) BT Mirage (similiar reason as Nemesis above - but he's not MISB)

that would probably be my primary grab. I do love the MP collection, but truth is - they could all be replaced. None are that hard to find and are all readily available. If I had to grab just one MP tho - it would probably be MP-04. What are TFers without Prime? He could be displayed all by himself, and be the essence of TFers.

I do have a nice collection of the 1984 G1's that would be somewhat hard to replace - however, if I lost my G1's -- I do not think that I would actually replace them. I love them for nastalgia, and glad I have them - but I like the MP line better - as they are what the G1's were suppose to be - and are more suited for quality display pieces. I wouldn't spend the money on G1's, and find that when I go in to admire them - I don't really gaze at them 'as' much. The only exception MIGHT be the set of Dinobots.

In all honesty, none of the ROTF TFers would be worth grabbing - and I probably wouldn't replace them either.

Yep, I feel the same way. I will never get rid of mine, and I enjoy looking at them. My wife teases that she will sell them all after I die and go on a cruise. LOL. They will go to my son tho - and since I have only 1 - I don't have to worry about them being broken up.

And if he decides to sell them all and he needs the money - so be it. Life has different priorities to different people -- I got my joy out of them - and I'd be dead anyways. Say la ve.

In a fire? My quick grab would be CL/FP Ultra Magnus!
