Okay I gotta make a decision fast on which system I am going to buy this game for! XBox 360 or PS3! Had a PS3 and it died on me, twice now. So I am leaning on getting an XBox 360 instead and giving up on Sony all together!

 

With Jazz as an exclusive unlocked character from Best Buy I will most likely have to go and get the game there now! Though I am curious: with all the exclusive characters being offered from the various retailers will all the characters be unlockable as you do certain things in the game or only with the specific codes given to you from the specific retailers? I think that question makes sense??? :tfhuh

when marvel ultimate alliance 2 came out, gamester had a code for The Juggernaut and best buy had a code for The Hulk i believe. thing was, Juggernaut was DLC and The Hulk was in the game already as an un-lockable character. Its the Hulk. he needs to be in that game! so i'm not sure how War for Cybertron will work. Hopefully all the characters are in the game and you can unlock them all. kind of sucks cause i want shockwave and jazz.

With what Puma says, it would be good to find out, because if you can unlock Jazz (like the Hulk), but Shockwave is really exclusive (like Jugernaut) I would still go for Game Stop, otherwise I would buy Best Buy.

Just when I FINALLY decide I'm going to roll with Shockwave, They release Jazz. >< Guess I know who I'm preordering now...

 

 

EDIT: But one thing worries me... It looks like Jazz, Demolisher and Shockwave will all be using the same type of gun? Maybe it's just the default gun everyone starts out with, but nonetheless it makes me a bit worried if all I'm preordering is essentially a costume swap(And a new vehicle mode).

If you see some of the other in-play videos, they are all using the same gun, so I'm guessing that's kind of the standard "handgun", and they probably just did all the videos with that as to not spoil to much on the weapons. But one of the videos, the one that shows character create, starts with weapon select, and you can see that there are plenty of different weapons to choose from.

I going with 360 all the way.

i love the Shockwave from Gamestop but i have to go with Jazz

I don't know how many people from the UK are part of this forums, but good new for them, it seems that one pre-order unlockable has been revealed for them from play.com Demolisher.
