Transformers 3 Bumblebee to be Convertible?

Recommended Posts

According to some action over at the Camaro5 Message Boards, we may be seeing a Bumblebee with his top off in the Transformers 3 movie. Member tmurphycardesign who claims to be adesigner designer working on the Cadillac and is quoted as "...it looks pretty badass!" and offers of a bit of info that will confirm or debunk the news "...they are goin[g] to be shooting it within a week or so..." GM has been teasing us with concept and road looks at the 2011 Chevy Camaro Convertible model. It seems likely they will go with the fresh look. What do you think? Read the Full News Story Here

it's possible..

i mean.. how else would they be able to make a different bumblebee figure..

It would be easy to work ino the figure too since the car roof just hangs off the back.

Maybe the upcoming BB was a practice run on working in a detailed interrior for the alt mode?

Wonder how this will pan out?

For HA yeah, but not for the Deluxe figure. Don't know about the other BB classes cuz I never really had them or paid attention to them online. I don't remember much of the HA BB cuz I took mine slightly apart, but weren't the fronts seats the only seats available.

I don't know, I think I'd rather see Arcee with her top off.

Cadillac?

i like the idea of switching him up to convertible. i hope they do some changes to the rest of the body and that the robot mode gets re-worked a little bit too

So this would be his 3rd change in appearance, sounds ok. More interested in Ratchet no longer being a hummer, and what form will Megatron take for the 3rd movie

well they said they would be tweaking his appearance

I guess it would be ok, as long as they keep him yellow... but then when he transforms, will the steering wheel just hand in his back?

As for Ratchet, personally I would like it if they took a car that looks closer to Ironhide, and maybe make him white? With a bit of red on him?

I would have liked if they turned Sideswipe red, but they already did that and called him Swerve in the toyline (almost bought them both, but opted to buy some RID and Universe instead).
