i heard about how you can use cruellock's sword handle and attach it to megatron's sword to make a hand-held one? can someone tell me how? or at least some pictures?

If it is possible, it's not with the full sized E. Megs.

 

E. Megs' sword base is a trapezoid, to fit into the connector on the back of the tank and allow it to tilt sideways to activate the light/sounds...

 

No point on it has a standard-sized peg. If it did, you wouldn't need the tank. =P

 

If there's some other way I don't know of, I'm sure someone'll speak up.

I took one of the smokestack things off my leftover deluxe Armada Prime torso (from my Energon Prime kitbash), cut off one of the pipes and superglued it to the base of the sword. It works nicely.

 

For my mini-Megs (from whose two-pack the deluxe Energon Prime came), I took one of the two broken Injectors ( http://tfu.info/1998/Predacon/Injector/injector.htm ) I have, tore off one of the fin-spines on his back and cut the red fin bit off, then cut the spine in half. Then I superglued that to the mini sword. Now the sword has this slanted-handle thing goin' on. :)

 

I'm thinking about making molds of them and casting new, single-piece swords ('cause the superglued handles are a little iffy atm, and can come off if abused).

I think this is what you're talking about. I think it can only be done on Superlink Galvatron or the Toys 'R' Us exclusive Megatron because the sword is smaller. Pic is from Remy's Superlink Galvatron gallery.
