I have thought about this quite often, what does Bay have to offer as far as his claim that the third installment of the "Bayverse" will get down to core mythology???

When ROTF was about 3 months from coming out in theaters I had said that Optimus Prime will die, and he did. So I think it is healthy to get an idea of what to expect from Mike and bounce some ideas around,.....THIS IS NOT A SPOILER.....

We know for a fact that Megatron and Starscream are alive, still!

And then after Prime was done smashing the Fallen he lost all of the Armour that was givin to him from the electrical transfer of Jetfire-with the help of jolt of coarse- and now he is sucked-up prime, Really when you see Optimus with the power-up stuff on, then it is off- it looks like prime went on a crystal-meth binge!!!

And will we be on Cybertron ??? Will we actually get to see the home of the great Autobots/Decepticons??? I HOPE SO- FOR FANS SAKE!!!!!

If there is any missing questionable facts that might lead into clues about movie #3 please list them here.

it's your turn....

Too early to say anything for sure. I just hope the movie gets delayed till 2013. Because then the apocalypse will insure that I never have to bear witness to that crap.

TF1 - good

TF2 - bad

TF3 - worst

^Thats the trend Im anticipating

And please remember that we're all going to die in 2012 :lol

Frankly I could really care less about the movie itself, if it sucks then "big surprise", if it's good then damn that's a big surprise and holy crap Micheal Bay actually learnt something from the second movie. All I care about right now are the new figures coming out and whether or not Megan Fox dies in the film, if she does then it's well worth admission and a small popcorn.

I really believe that fake "leaked script" for the 3rd film will have more truth than lies to it.

Personaly I don't care at this point. I'm gonna go see the movie anyway.

What I care about are the figures. TF2 worked in an extreme of either real good, or real bad.

So whatever happens happens, all I can say between now and then is that every time the movie gets brought up, same with 1&2 it'll just be a rant of rampant negativity which in itself has me tuned out till then.

For me the big thing going on with the film is the inevitable addition of Superion to the robo-cast, I just want to see how they design this character and the toy that's sure to follow and whether or not they'll make him "well-endowed" as Devastator was. :lol

Oh and Grimlock, though I have a feeling they may just cast Micheal Bay as Grimlock, they're both destructive, they both have primitive brains, and they both claim to be something they aren't, Grimlock claims he's a robot in disguise and Micheal Bay claims he's someone who knows how to make a great movie. :P

In all you and I both know that the ILM version of Grimlock would be something to see, and as well as Superion.I mean look at Devastator- way off from G1 but VERY interesting.

And the effects of ILM is the reason that the ticket cost of $10 each person in my family is worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!

What he said.

I hate and fear ROTF, and I hate and fear the very prospect of the 3rd film. The toys, on the other hand, have a death grip on my wallet.

I care very much about the 3rd film, though. ROTF sucked up over 2 hours of my life, and whatever I spent on the tickets and refreshments and gas. I can't get that back. I can't EVER get that back. With that in mind, unless Brian Dennehy (?!?)knocks on my door and offers to drive me to the movie and pay my way completely AND get me a whole lot of Royal Crown Cola (with easy ice), I just can't see myself going.

What is with you guy's and this movie???? Do you really see someone else other than Speilberg/Lucas/Bay doing these movies???The first two have a right to be there when robots collide and Bay could do better but he didn't do that bad...

How would you do it??, how would you write it???(and please make it interesting because I am spending money on this movie) And if it was not for Bay designs and nod on ALL of the robots that have that serious "Death grip on your wallet" then what would you buy??? More reissue's of G1 encore and Walmart Masterpiece Skywarp???

I have high hopes on the 3rd movie, you know that we are going to Cybertron finally right??? And you will go to the movie, you just don't know it yet.

And who knows - they might have even more "Death grip on my wallet" robots for ya since Dennehy cant make it, he is to busy face down in his pillow ......

I would do it in a manner that allowed the audience to follow the plot and make for a good movie, not a flashy senseless mindfuck.

I would write it with the characters in mind. I wouldnt give each one a single awesome scene and then push them into the background. I'd give them a little thing called dialogue. The action means nothing if you cant convey a sense of believability of their reasons for fighting in the first place. I want the audience to connect with the characters struggle. Not just see a bunch of robots killing each other for no other reason then that they are in the same generalized area.

That Bay's designs statement is speculative. They arent the reason why parents took their kids to see it, or why Transformers fans went to see it. That was just Bay's way of making "realistic" alien robots.

Collectors and kids would buy whatever design would have been used for the movie.

You dont know we are going to Cybertron. Bay isnt that clever. Even if he was he would still manage to completely ruin everything in between point A and point B.
