Th Joy of Secret Features

Recommended Posts

I like how Nightstick can plug directly onto Cyclonus' wrist. And how the engine/EMP generator from Animated Lockdown can fit into Animated Ratchet's 'war wound'. (Cybertron Mode may need a little modding to make it work)

Aswell, ROTF Lockdown's hook/gun/arm can do the same thing with deluxe Ratchet.

not really sure if this is a hidden feature and not an alternate alt mode...and i dont have pics, but i found a scorpion alt mode for animated shockwave/longarm

Ooh! I'd love to see that!

ROTF Brawn's guns can be stored on his back where the slits are for his car's shell.

Pics please? I can't get mine to work...

I think I know what Rumblebee was talking about. If you open up Brawn's wings so you can look at the underside, you should find a small green tab that's along (not next to) a black support piece for the wing's joint. Brawn's guns have a notch in the peg, which should fit right onto that peg. When attached, the gun should end up pointing upwards with the barrel just peeking over the wing.

It's quite a nifty feature, but Brawn's hand's have such huge holes for their size, it's better to keep him armed. At least he can also hold Recon Ironhide's weapons.

Ive taken the liberty of snapping a few photos to illustrate the step-by step, enjoy!:

this is the nub you want to hook on to (its a little tough to get at at first because the gun bumps into other things, but if you do it a couple times it will fall in place with ease):

heres the slot on the peg of Brawns pistol:

you should end up with this:

ACHEIVEMENT UNLOCKED!!!

now his hands are free for rockin' out on his sweet axe!

Yeah, I think that's what the designers were going for with at least some of the ROTF toys, giving them a few features that allow them to exchange weapons or interact with each other.

Leader Movie Megatron 07 has some sweet uncredited gimmicks ... swap the spring from the left arm to the right to have mace arm spring out, create a fusion cannon by sliding the gun on the left arm on its slide and finally remove the head in alt mode to make the jet look much sleeker.

Heeeeyyy...That's even better than the slots I was using. Mine were on the very top of those wings. Putting them in the middle conceals them so much better. ^_^

pics on those combiners :)

When you get round to showing us that Skyblast gun thing..

Thats what the above poster should have said.. :tfevil

Forgot about that, I'll have to fish them out later

Later is turning to never... :tfsad :tfsad :tfsad

so war for cybertron prime has peg holes on his forearms. anyone else notice that you can peg his blaster into them? the molding on his arm and gun even keeps it in straight

major bumpage

not sure if anyone else noticed, but on the clip that stores Drifts sword on his back is a little swing arm, you can pull it out so his sword doesn't get in the way of his legs!
