I've wanted Team Ironhide for a long time. They have to be killable though :P

 

Energon had some real good backround bot designs.

Someone already said this, but the first thing I thought of when I heard about the line was Jhiaxus from the G2 comic. That's my biggest want. And honestly, now that they've done Straxus and a transforming Bludgeon? It seems possible. There are comic fans working at Hasbro, clearly.

 

Animated Omega Supreme will never happen, but I'd buy it if it did, and I passed on all the Animated toys.

 

Beast Wars Black Arachnia. If they're gonna do another Beast Wars figure, this is the one to do, right? Her original toy was a disgrace. Even if you track down the Japanese one with the accurate colors, it's still a less-than-convincing Tarantulus repaint.

 

In the G1 universe, I'd love to see more 1986 characters - Kup, Springer, Blurr and Wreck-Gar would all be great. I think it'd be cool to see a modern take on a Headmaster too, so I guess Nightbeat, since he was the only really memorable character of the bunch.

I want a new Sky-byte. He deserves a brand new mold for easily being the best character from RiD. I always found the TM2 Cybershark mold to be a pretty weak figure.

Like I said a million days ago, theres potential for bringing the rest of those non=toy Animated characters to Universe (now Generations I guess). For me I'd like to see:

 

Animated Constructicons

Animated Omega Supreme

A few more BW updates would be cool, but Liege was right in that so far their updates haven't done much to beat out the originals. If they do make some I would LOVE to see Rhinox (his figures so far suck and dont do him justice), Tarantulus and BW Inferno. Also it'd be neat to see Tigatron and Airrazor in a two pack that could combine into Tigerhawk :P.

Superconductor is correct in that Hearts of Steel would be BADASS! I would totally buy an Insectrain set!

For classics Ive always wanted a Bludgeon and Monstercons. And now that they are making Icepick, I'm a little sated there, even if he's not the same (he looks cool so far).

War For Cybertron Soundwave.

And finally, a combiner thats NOT Bruticus or Superion. Preferably Menasor or Predaking.

Just a curious question to ask, am I the only person in the fandom who really feels anything for the g1 Thunderwing character?

 

It seems everyone just takes an "eh" reaction to him and I could never understand it. Granted, he was a comic character only and the original figure was less than stellar, but he was very badass while he was around. I always hoped more people would jump at the idea of getting an updated version of him, but I guess it's never gonna happen.

 

I've seen some customs that were freakin amazing. Pity there isn't more of a demand.

I was happy with 10th Primal and Megatron, happy with TFU Dinobot, but let down with Cheetor. Three out of four aint too bad. So yeah, I'd love some BW updates or even... new BW characters.

No, I'd love a Thunderwing update too. That would be awesome.

I always liked the clones. Pounce & Wingspan, Cloudraker & Fastlane.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing those redone, but I also know they would just be repaints so...

That Tigerhawk set would be awesome. Too bad they'd probably just repaint Universe Cheetor or something. Concur on Rhinox, very disappointing figure.

 

By the way, for everyone hating on the Beast Wars updates, you can't tell me that Henkei Dinobot isn't a huge improvement from the original. You just can't. It's a shame Hasbro screwed up the colors on the US release.

Thunderwing was in like one storyline, albeit a very good one, so I think he was just way below Bludgeon on everyone's Favorite Pretender list, especially because his concept was less concrete. But now that we have Bludgeon, I guess I'd be down? He would have to come with a Matrix, for sure.
