In-Depth Gallery of Transformers Voyager Sea Spray!

Recommended Posts

This is part of Hasbro's move into a generic Transformers toy line just called "Transformers." You notice it's less movie-styled, but it has movie co-sells. The packaging also LACKS any mention of Paramount or Dreamworks. It's just a generic Seaspray that may or may not be in the Movieverse or Universe/Classics.

Notice they also have a picture of a black movie Voyager Ratchet redeco as a co-sell?

I think he's fantastic!!!! i love the underwater robot mode!! with those flippers. Great photographs and poses. He's very unique and completely different from what i'd expected. I'll buy him for sure. Just need a stand for some for those poses because that's how he'll be displayed, being i display in robot mode. Now i just need him in a G1 or G2 paint scheme!

P.S do robots need oxygen? why does he have air intakes running into his mask.....just kidding....who cares...but seriously.

I also would have liked his hands to be able to rotate of move or something. Some webbed ones.

This guy is beginning to sell on me but I will have to see in hand before I'm completely sold. If it's a movie related figure then it's a definite buy.

I'm interested to see more pics of the black ratchet.

the design looks great for a movie figure with the exception of the foot flippers look stupid to me...I really just don't like the colors rather see more of a military color scheme not the baby blue and white I just don't like it...kills it for me.

It's a civilian hovercraft.

I like the alternate flipper feet. It's a nice touch.

Actualy I like the entire figure over all. My only gripes are the lack of a rear spoiler, and sadly the bay are of the alt into the control area looks completely unfinished. They could have done something with taht I'm sure.

Also, it's posted in the other Seaspray tread, I like my Bio better :P

Anyhow, I am getting this figure :thumb

I have a feeling it's to aid retailers for the most part. I'm sure having three or more Transformers lines selling at the same time can be a nightmare for product setters and restock! I love the new packaging though...it displays very well, more interesting to collectors in my opinion.

As for Seaspray...LOVE IT! The flip out flippers are a cool touch too.

GAH! I'm going to have an aneurism from all my pent-up excitement about Seaspray! I mean, when was the last time Bubbles McGee here got so much attention? Well played, Mr. Spray, well played!

The posed pics definitely make me more interested but I'll wait for the inevitable G1 repaint at Walmart or whatever.

i'm wondering if he'll have poseability issues. Notice how his calves have a rotating swivel design to them...sorta at the knee. I believe that would pose a problem if he were to be posed any other way than straight legged being that isn't a bending pin hinge or ratchet design. hmmmmmm. have to wait and see i guess.
