Random Blasts From The Past

I like hiding a scout inside the hollow core of Energon Omega then having it jump out the back pannels. I also like combining him with Energon Wing Saber. It really just adds a new level of kisck ass to the figure.

Ahhhh....my Doubledealer. Haven't pulled him out in a while. He is one of my favorites though. I like to mistransform him so that his wings are out when he's in robot mode. Annother glorious G1 that i can stare at and admire for days. Now thats a great figure.

For nostalgia I still like to pull out my G1 Hot Spot and push him around a table.

This isn't actually toy related but i was watching the G1 cartoon the other day and i watched the episode 'Call of the Primitives'. When i was a kid, that was the best episode for me. I had taped it onto a Beta tape and watched it over and over and over. IT's also the best animated of all the episodes in the entire G1 series...handsdown! It also inspired me to watch my other favorite 'Atlantis rising". Thats the second best in the series aswell IMO.

Now back to the toys. this is somewhat G1 related.I was on another site today and a guy had pointed out that a prototype Universe Onlsaught was for sale on ebay. Then he had mentioned, which i think is a good idea, that he be repainted to like like Snaptrap!

If you look at the mold.....he's definitely a dead ringer for a Snaptrap repaint.

For me it's Cybertron Snarl. Just solid forms in both modes and just one of my favorite transformations ever! He could use much much more in the way of articulation especially in the leg department and he's got loose shoulders in wolf mode but he's still fun to me.

G1 Pretender classics Bumblebee. Was such a good representation of Bumblebee. So much better than the first version of him.

Transmetal Terrorsaur. When I first had him, I kind of liked him, except for his very floppy shoulders. I lost him and only somewhat recently bought a new one from a friend along with a bunch of Beast Wars-y goodness. This one's shoulders are MUCH stiffer, which makes me love him!

cybertron sideways for me.....ive always loved this figure...one of the greatest deluxes ever IMHO...great robot mode...great alt mode....the swords f@#ckin rock....the crossbow of doom weapon on his other arm is sweet.....fun to pose, just straight up fun to play with....to this day this one still gets a 10 from me...love it..and the repaint that came with the japanese galaxy force dvd and the universe ratbat repaint rule to..

G1 Quake.

One of my first TF's and surprisingly poseable. PLus he's Double Targetmaster.

G1 Ratchet.

Recently got the custom clip on head on Ebay and cannot put him or Encore Ironhide down. had a Mexican version but after getting the heads and Ironhide, I had to get an Encore Ratchet.

G1 Scourge

Bought a new on Ebay last year because my old one's wing was broken since 1987. Great figure and the seller kept him in great nick. Still feels new.

G1 Snapdragon

Had him as a kid but didn't age well. Got him with Scourge last year and it took me back to my 11th birthday when I originally got him. Great jet mode and he's a triple changing Headmaster.

G1 Metroplex

Got him with Scourge and Snapdragon. Another old one, I needed a new version of. I was one of 4 kids I knew with Metroplex and they all broke in half. Same with aptly named Actionmaster Kick Off and his leg, 2 or 3 of them. Like Scourge and Snapdragon, the owner kept Metroplex in great condition too. All 3 feel new.

I've heard that Snap Trap repaint suggestion for Onslaught somewhere too. Sounds cool.
