Despite the fact that a rumor came up yesterday reporting that Transformers 3 will likely start shooting in May, Slash Film reports that the script is not yet finished. According to the entertainment website, Director Michael Bay and Ehren Kruger have not finished the script, but many things can happen in five months, right? Mr. Bay has also said before that he changes the script while shooting, so it is unknown how important a completely finished script is anyway.

Transformers 3D.... :doh Really? Is that necessary?

Not a bad thing, I just don't think it is needed.

No script? No problem! This is a Michael Bay movie after all! He just pulls it out of his (hat) as he goes along! :lol

Aaah... sorry, sorry; I didn't want to be that guy; but it just such an obvious joke, ya know? I figured I'd better do my duty to the community and go ahead and get it out of the way... so YOU don't have to! :thumb

Plenty of movies start shooting before the script is finished. It not being finished could mean a lot of things. Anyway, I think the 3-D is necessary because in this day and age of kick ass home theaters people need a reason to actually go to the theater. I think we're going to see a lot more of it. I just hope the 3-D isn't gimmicky and actually immerses the viewer instead of having people duck as shrapnel comes flying at them.

I wonder if the delay is because that script leaked a few weeks back... I know everyone says it's a fake, but that draft would fit the time line for a May shoot. Maybe the leak is the cause for the delay, because that would go with what has already been put out there. They would be fixing that script right about now and getting ready to run with it.

You know, thinking about it. How many people really want to see a movie where MB teabags them in 3D. Or better yet wait til we see humping robots and dogs in 3D. I can't wait for that. In fact why does bay even need a script his movies usually work like this.

1 hour of explosions. Perfect for a 3d movie, 45 minutes of sexually related humor. (again TeaBaged in 3d) and 15 minutes of actual story......

Ehh, he could have that movie out by the end of the year... Ohhh, no, just got a horrible thought... Fox's giant lips in 3d....

Michael Bay's movies give me a headache.

Nice one! lol etc...

Of course it will be in 3D! It's the latest gimmick and when TF3 comes out, it'll probably be expected of such a film, and as others have mentioned, the story and characters have been a bit thin so far, so adding 3D will only create further interest for moviegoers. Anything that gets them in the door... And who cares about all that stuff like interesting storylines?
