Leaked Transformers 3 Movie Script - Believe it or Not?

Recommended Posts

You young pups make me laugh. Don't hate on the original Transformers series simply because you weren't around when it was around the first time. That's silly. If you don't like the original stuff, it's fine, but don't act like Energon and Cybertron are the only Transformers shows that make sense. Please.

This script would excite anyone who has ever wanted to see the 1984 Transformers presented in live action. That is all.

Hey I'm not hating on G1, I grew up on the original cartoon even though i wasn't there when it originally debuted, but I love the designs of the bayformers, hate the plot of the movies, but love the designs I just like the fact that i can look at them and say "hey I know THAT part's in the actual car" whereas when I saw the transformations on aaaall of the cartoons (minus Beast Wars and Beast Machines) I always wondered, even when i was little "why didn't anybody notice the robot head if they opened the trunk?" And though most G1 fans hate what happened to SS I like it, he LOOKS brutal, and Charlie Adler's gritty growly rendition of SS's voice makes him more menacing than the whiny one of G1. But do not get me wrong. G1's plots FAR trump the racist, toilet humour crap Bay throws around. Give me G1 to watch and the bayformer toys to collect.

Soooo, let me see if I get this right. Most perople believe it is a fake because it is too good for something that bay would use?

Possibly, any ways, even if it were what they were thinking about doing as soon as bay knows that it was leaked it would be scrapped.

I have no dought that in the next movie there will be a lot of "Fan Service." Bay has recieved a lot of hype, both negative and possitive, over his idea of TF. He has stated before that he did not care what people thought because he makes a lot of $$$ and that seems to be what matters. (Some paraphrasing) any ways, I actually would not be suprised to see bay (at other peoples guidance) do a 180 on this film and make it more G1ish to stroke the fans egos... Just a thought.

Just because it's not final doesn't mean it's not "legit." Nelson is not exactly known for his impartiality. His attempts at damage control, yes...

No, it's because there's too much fan service in this script. I didn't read it personally, but after listening to the TFormers Podcast guys, it seems just too much goofy, tongue-in-cheek humor - even for a Bay film. The film would not be very accessible to people outside of people who just want to go to the movies for an explosion-filled fest with Giant Robots to boot.

People didn't care that the second film sucked. People kept going anyway just because they enjoyed the ridiculous, non-stop action. Hampering with with uber fan geek stuff would just be too much for a potential blockbuster film and, most likely, Michael Bay.

To address your last comment, the studios will not change a single thing about how Bay is handling the film franchise. Why? Because it's a juggernaut. The first film raked in a large amount of money that took us by surprise, and the second film raked in even more that took even more people by surprise and brought the film a lot of attention. Thus, Paramount telling Bay to give the fans more service would not be ideal. While the fandom is definitely hardcore, we were most likely not the audience that spent the most money going to see the film.

^ I agree. It would be a nice thought though.

I my self have come to terms with the BAyverse TF's. The movies do what they are suppose to and that is make money. It entertains people and a lot of people enjoy it. No reason for them to change that. In my head I have devided the movies and the TV series' into two catagories.

Movies are for the masses.

TV series' are for the fans. (Animated had a lot of G1 Homage for the fans.)

This helps me anyways. But of course now that I have said that Hasbro will anonce that the New Animated TF series will be based off the movies... No, I think the movies will stay the same and thats fine with me.

But as far as this acript is concerned it is a good read.
