Should Jazz be in Transformers 3

Recommended Posts

Well... i say he shouldnt, because he's dead and they even said they couldnt bring him back. If he does come back, i hope they dont give a stupid reason how he comes back.

If by "coming back" he is in a flashback, then OK. If he gets resurrected by the Matrix, it better be for a good reason. Otherwise, better off staying dead.

  • 2 weeks later...

Jazz didn't have to die but i'm glad he did because the lines he had in the first film were ridiculous!! He actually was kind of embarassing to me with his silly breakdancing. His voice and the lines were just so cheesy i couldn't stand him.

Keep him dead.......please. Which he will. There's no need to bring him back being that there are existing new characters to develope and more on the way.

Jazz is history.

I tottally Agree every line was a cheesy stereo type....it's as if when Megs ripped Jazz apart they made Skid and Mud Flap forom the remains...and not only was his lines stupid his voice was way to low for his character.

What was worse his death was it went almost went unoticed.

:tfpuke Jazz needs to stay dead. I don't want to see any more Transformers coming back from the dead. Both Megatron and Optimus have done it... that's _more_ than enough. Ravage appears to be living in a blasphemous state of undeath atm - so that's cool. I can deal with zombies. Just no more miraculous resurrections please.

it's amazing Jazz reminds dead, but Blackout(renamed Grindor for some reason, but he gets a Prime facial removal treatment lol), Bonecrusher, Brawl shows up in ROTF what the heck!?

(for the bonecrusher, brawl look closer at the deceptions in the eypt battle scene you will see them)

Grindor's a different character from Blackout. Also, Blackout transforms into a MH-53 Pave Low, whereas Grindor transforms into a CH-53E Super Stallion. Although the Grindor toys, being repaints of Blackout, are MH-53s, in the movie Grindor is a CH-53E.

The Buffalo MPV Decepticon in ROTF might be Bonecrusher, or simply another Decepticon with the same body type (just like how there were several different Constructicons of the same body type in ROTF - e.g. the red Rampage (aka Skipjack) captured Sam's parents in Paris and was defeated by Bumblebee, whereas the yellow Rampage combined to form Devastator). While Bonecrusher was decapitated by Optimus Prime, note that:

1/ Transformers _can_ survive decapitations (just ask Frenzy)

2/ Bonecrusher's body was _not_ among those disposed of in the Laurentian Abyss.

3/ According to Jungle Bonecrusher's tech specs bio, Bonecrusher _did_ manage to survive his battle with Optimus Prime.

So it is entirely possible that it was Bonecrusher who appeared in ROTF.

I don't recall seeing Brawl appearing in ROTF though.

But remember that ROTF established that there are many Decepticons that share a common basic body type. It's nothing new either. Just look at the G1 Seekers!

I wish this thread would die, but if it did another one would just spring up in its place.

Like a weed!

Meh, it was on par with his G1 persona. Jazz was meant to be the Autobot who had a keen interest in human pop culture. In the 1980s he was into "jive", but to update the character they made him "hip hop." Jazz is attempting to emulate human mannerisms in an effort to study/appreciate Earth culture.

And at least he's not doing it in an arguably demeaning manner like say Skids and Mudflap.

There's a difference between having an Autobot acting like this:

And a pair of Autobots acting like this:

;)

Yeah, this did suck. :)

Another thing that bothered me about Jazz was that he was so small you almost over looked him. I don't see why he was made smaller thatn BB. BB doesn't have to be the smallest, but compared to the other Autobots he wasn't much bigger than Frenzy....He looked like a rag doll next to Megs.

Methinks you need to look at Goki's sig again. :tfevil

Yes! Jazz should be be in TF3. Why? Because the Autobots that were added to replace him sucked big time. Take a very popular, fun-loving Autobot that loves everything to do with music, and replace him with a potty-mouthed, nasty runt and two out of place childish minibots with dentures. Goktimus Prime pointed out the striking differences between Jazz and Skids/Mudflap. And you only have to ask what were the writers thinking? What was Michael Bay thinking?

I like Jazz. I want more from his character and hope that he's in TF3.

I think you just proved the case for getting Blaster in the movie instead.

:tfpuke When a character dies, they should stay dead ... otherwise the serious consequences of combat are completely lost in the story arc. I know Transformers has a tradition of deaths followed by resurrections, but in the context of the film trilogy I really think it should have been avoided.

As for Jazz, he was a fairly insignificant player in the first film ... eclipsed by Sideswipe in the second (which is damning seeing how small his role in RoTF was). So I can't see the benefits of bringing him back - the majority of the audience wouldn't care either.

why not they brought Bonecrusher back albeit as a background transformer
