Brave Max...

There are so many figures I regret buying. Some being ROTF Twins, both Animated Leader Magnus and Bulkhead and Cybertron Vector Prime with the shit brown color. There is a lot more, but I've have to think really hard about it cuz I've pretty much gotten rid of those figures.

 

As for figures I regret passing on, probably Primus. There was also the Cybertron Defense Team, but I only would've bought them if I saw all three at once, which never happened.... I would've regretted the purchase now though. Back then I basically bought almost everything I saw. Recently passed on ROTF Swerve and Arcee, but those are still new.

 

Classics Ultra Magnus

:agree If I got Classics Ultra Magnus, I'd be more interested in the City Commander.

 

I'm just glad I was too lazy to auction my Classics Magnus. I hate the toy and only get the 2 pack for Skywarp. Then City Commander came along.... :yay

 

Opposite for me, I gave Skywarp away for free, something I rarely ever do.

There's only a couple figures I regret not getting/seeing/finding:

 

Energon Ultra Magnus - darn thing never even showed up around here!

 

Reissue "Powermaster Optimus Prime". I already had the Ginrai resissue, but it would have been nice to have a second for extra parts. One of the wings on God Ginrai is missing, and I'm hoping I find it before I move.

 

That's about it

Universe Cyclonus. Decided on the Henkei version, and it's such a fantastic figure that I regret not picking up the US version for "Armada".

Sonic Attack Jet. I love that mold, haven't been able to find this version at a decent price since I passed on him the one time I saw him in stores.

Universe 1.0 Optimus Primal. Thought it was fugly as hell then, after revisting BW years later with the release of the 10th ani Primal, i regret not picking him up. And the fugly colors grew on me. :lol

 

But, by far my #1 regret is this. Way back in 1999, when I first re-discovered TFs and was slowly getting into becoming a collector, I saw and fell in love with a particular repaint of a particular figure. Saw it on ebay for 300 bucks, which at the time for me was an insane amount of money to spend on a toy, so despite wanting it, at that age (18), just finishing high school i just couldn't see paying 3 large for a single toy, so I passed on it. More or less forgot about it, til I ran into the regular version of the toy years later...picked up that version, he was a cool a mold as I suspected. Around that same time, I learned what that figure I passed on for "too much money" really was.

 

Galvaconvoy. The black and purple "Galvatron" redeco of Lioconvoy, a Lucky Draw figure that, last time I saw for sale on ebay, went for over $2400 bucks. Yeah. I kick myself in the ass for not buying that guy back then every time I look at my "Beast Primes" shelf. :khaaan

Cybertron Soundwave - beautiful beautiful figure. Love Universe Blaster.

I skipped on the Energon Wing Saber, wihch plagued me for years, and still does, that's when I got back into TFs after my hiatus. I also skipped out on Cybetron Unicron, I couldn't find MP Starscream, I wanted a red repaint of Powerglide, I'll stop now before I lose sleep over these...

There are way too many to list. I'll just post these:

 

Every BW 10th Anv figure.

Every Masterpiece.

Every Alternator.

RotF Soundwave.

 

I ended up paying 3 times as much for MP SS, and more than the original price for most of my Alternators I have now. As for RotF Soundwave, I've only seen one in stores that looked to be in decent condition. I passed it up, and now they are all gone.

My Targets all have Soundwave. PM me and let me know if you want one.

I regret missing RID Ultra Magnus.. I got RID prime for Christmas. At the time I didn't watch the show so I didn't know he combined. Siiigh when i saw it i almost cried lol :tflaugh
