The bigger Gavaltron would look nice standing next to G1 Galvatron as they are the same height. They could both look menacing together.

He's a great figure no matter which color you decide on. The only real let down for me is the tank. It really doesn't do anything. For me E. Prime and E. Megs could have been improved if their drones transformed into something other than accessories.

I think the Hasbro Energon Galvatron is the best coloring of this mold, I think it's the first megatron I will get unless I finally can get hold of a WST Megatron.

I think you should get the Toys R Us two pack version. The mold and colors of Megs are cool, but it's overpriced at $40 by itself. Get the smaller version with smaller E Prime for $25. Most bang for your buck.

I'm thinking about breaking my embargo on Energon toys and picking this guy up. What do you all think?

Maybe Ive been living in a cave, but why the embargo on E-Tfs? Theres some awesome stuff in there, dude. BTW, Megs rocks. But go for the repaint.

I waited for the smaller figure that came in the OPtimus/Megs two pack. Energon megs was just too big for me... so the scaled down version was awesome! I love the figure... and he's way more menacing than Armada Megs

I'm a nut case, but I like the simpler transformation on E-Megs. I love the way the parts snap together and a bunch of them are spring-loaded so they just pop in place. The opalescent paint job is choice too. So I voted that E-Megs is the R0XXX0RZ!.

 

Though I thought the black and green Megatron special was cool too.

I guess for me, I'm only into the toys inasmuch as I'm into the show. (What can I say -- I grew up on G1, I've been brainwashed.) But E Megs seems to be cool enough to possibly transcend that mindset.

I really like the smaller Meg better because of the color, its more show accurate. although the tank weapon didn't go on as well compare to the bigger Meg. Now that I have 2 megs... I don't know which one to display...

all i can say is don't let the show put you off of the energon figures. personally i don't think the show is all that bad, it's really been getting better as of late.

 

i was VERY skeptical about the figures, and the first wave only left me with a eh...so-so feeling. but ever since i've been liking them more and more with each new wave. like the show or not, the figures are a helluva lot of fun!

 

as to megs all i can say is...what the hell are you waiting for? he kicks major ass!

 

i'm guessing if you got a select few energon figures you just might be surprised how fast you find yourself going back for more. i know i was.
