Whooolly Crap :love ! now i dont have to spend $70 on a Takara reissue Insecticon Pack!!!!!!!!!

I grabbed a load when they first came out with Prime, Hot Rod, the Seekers, and the Smokescreen/Bluestreak/etc. brothers...and i MISSED Soundwave *(mother of God, why :argh)*

you guys have no friggin' idea how excited i am!

yes, im a cheap G1-whore (...well $34.99 is kinda steep, but hey im getting 3 insectabots so i guess i'll shut up about it).

Ok, i know that that red dude is the jp issue Universe Powerglide, sweet, but who the heck are those other two bots, the green tank and black jet (who looks like a red/black universe skybolt)?

that and im debating whether or not i should return my ROTF soundwave b/c that G1 repaint looks hella good!

I would be jumping for joy if I didn't already bought them from Takara when they reissued them. now if they do Blaster or the Dinobots, that would be GREAT!

The red repaint is indeed Powerglide.

The green repaint of Onslaught is supposed to be Hardhead.

Not sure who the black and red repaint of Silverbolt is supposed to be.

I'm excited about Perceptor. I've always liked the science bots (Autobot/Maximal/Decepticon/Predacon doesn't matter).

This looks interesting indeed.

The Silverbolt redeco is a G2 character known at Skyjack.

Don't get too excited about the Universe Ultra redecos though, they're supposed to be Wal-Mart Exclusives. :tfmad

Is the US getting a red powerglide then?

And are you saying the US are reissuing the Insecticons?

If so this is great news

Yup, was revealed at Botcon! $34 for Perceptor, and $34 for the Insecticons set. The Insecticons set is a great deal, since they work out to be about $11 something a piece. (I wonder if we'll get the energon cubes to come with them?)

Hope so about the Energon cubes. It is Universe Powerglide coming out right. If so then all I can say is wow Hasbro are starting to listen to fans maybe...

To bad most of us will never find them... Damn scalpers...

nah, It was a japan exclusive in that color. they're just selling the extras here :)

kinda like a lot of stuff. Japan gets the G1 reissue stuff first and then some of it trickles down to the US. the only exception i remember to that rule lately has been the Seacon/ Piranacon set that Transformers Collectors Club sold in 2007....(i missed that one two :argh )

but yeah. i passed on the US powerglide, might pick up the repaint.

now if they do Blaster or the Dinobots, that would be GREAT!

Yeah, Blaster would make sense...and maybe some cassettes? im asking for too much :redface

Dinobots.....prob not. Takara hasnt reissued any, so its pretty much a guarantee that Hasbro's not getting any. Too bad u and me didnt buy them when G2 released them in the 90's. :(
