Razorclaw/Tigerhawk Secrets

Recommended Posts

OK.....I posted this on the Swamp but I'm looking for a wider audience to help me with a few puzzling issues on my favorite beastformer Razorclaw (a.k.a. Tigerhawk).

I was on TFans shot box and X-BOT talked about finding a Vok on the right arm of Tigerhawk. It is just below the spark ball behind the translucent yellow-green plastic piece.

Now I don't have a tigerhawk but have the razorclaw. To me when I look in the same spot (now the translucent part is dark red) I see something but it looks like just tech parts in the mold. Is this the same for tigerhawk and if so how does what I'm looking at make a Vok.

I saw a Vok pic on some fan site, but that didn't help me much. Am I looking at a face or what.

If some one has both tigerhawk and razorclaw and could check this out that woud be great and we can all learn something new about this mazing character and figure.

Also has anybody come up with a fan mode for tigerhawk/razorclaw that uses the wheels on his cannons?

If so please post some pictures.

Any help would be great.

Tigerhawk and TM2 Megatron were supposed to have "Spark figures" that sat in their cockpit bubbles, personifications of their sparks. The feature was dumped from the North American versions though because Hasbro eventually thought that it was confusing, and diluted the spark concept. But I believe the figures showed up contained within either the Japanese or European releases (I don't remember which).

As for the wheels on Tigerhawk/Razorclaw, it's speculated he was supposed to have a tank mode to match Megatron's "dragster" mode, but the steps to create it weren't in his instructions. Basically though, all you need to do is fold his wings down so that the wheels lay flat, turn the beast mode on its back, and then position the beast limbs and wings and junk so that it looks remotely like a tank. The upside-down Tiger head kinda messes with its appearance, though...

I've heard somewhere long time ago saying that Hasbro orginally intended that part to be openable and a pilot (think about those little people you get from Zoids figures) to be fitted in it. and then they scratch the idea and made it the way it is now. I only have a Tigerhawk, I don't know what a volk is -_-. Pictures?

Yeah I already new about the spark pilot bit that got canned.

My question is more focused on the area below the spark ball that is behind the translucent plastic. X-BOB (called him X-BOT before oops) said that the VOK can be seen through/behind that plastic part on tigerhawk. I'm wondering what that VOK on the arm is suppose to look like and if that detail on the mold carried over onto the Razorclaw mold, which what I have.

Basicly if there is a collecter out there who has both Tigerhawk and Razorclaw, this would be the best Tfan to answer my question.

BTW thanks MX-01 Archon for telling me how the other mode is suppose to be made.

In the swamp I was told that the tank mode was also suppose to hold a basic figure, originaly.

If anybody has any pics of their modes with this toy (using the wheels) please post them.

Thanks all.

they apeared in the last but one episode of beast wars and destroyed taranchulas

I know there's a Vok sticker on the inside of Tigatron's chest (the BotCon repaint of BW Ravage, that is). Could that be what he's referring to?

no on the Tigerhawk toy there is a little Vok face molded in his right shoulder under the Green visor thing.
