Hi fellow Transfans. I just got back from the Swansea, MA Wal Mart where they had the entire first wave of ROTF figures out for sale. I actually watched them stock the bare walls. I only picked up deluxes Rampage and Sideways though. I collect only the 'cons. I already have Demolishor on it's way from Ebay, and the Starscream didn't look better than my Deep Space one from TF1. Anyway, I guess they got an email yesterday that was broadcast from corporate saying the figures could come out today. They had photocopied signs on the pegs with today's date and "available at 5PM on them", but I was able to get them within an hour of the store opening. Here's what was available:

Megatron (got one of the pirated voyager ones of ebay a few weeks ago, and it's better than this one IMO)

Anyway, the TRU next door said there stuff was going out tomorrow, and I would like to find a BB for my fiance (she wants one, how lucky am I?) and I heard the Fallen was sneaking out with some cases of wave 1 (none at Wally). Get out on the hunt!

That's exactly what they had in stock at the Walmart in Glen Ellyn, IL, near me. What a great sight to see, all those RoF toys!

Agreed. an AMAZING fig, although on mine the pegs on the chest that slot in and move up and down like to not come out, and I'm afraid of applying as much force as I am to transform him. I am gonna have to go in with my X-acto knife and shave down some things. In fact....

Peaugh said sometime in August, I can't wait but I can ( need a job and more money), but with the various waves of toys hitting the stores it could be sooner than that. Here's hoping.

i think i know what you mean. i had to pull the chest pieces all the way up and then push them toward the center of the chest and pull out. its a bit labor intensive, but i think its nice to have snug parts. especially the small ones.

 

EDIT: yeah. i actually put alot of force into that... didnt notice, but it doesnt feel like it will break at all.
