Absolutely getting Energon version. The gestalt hands and feet leave something to be desired, but I love the alt modes and bot modes. Not to mention that the color schemes work pretty well.

I like what IRL did with the arms, getting out elbows and fingers for Superion.

 

Honestly, I feel of all the new Takara releases, Superion should be 2nd or 3rd priority of getting, after BT Meister and perhaps the Insecticons for the 2nd place.

 

However for me, I've got something for "Superion" since G1, so my priority was for SC-26. Might be getting my second one.

 

One thing for sure to me, Superion's another overhyped fella.

I'll tough it out until the thing hits stores. He looks good, but not good enough to justify spending that much money on him.

I feel the same way as you do, after seeing the actual toy in the stores.

 

As such, I seek the perspectives of people who have actually bought the toy because it's only after you have it, that you really know whether it's worth it or not. This isn't the first time that photographs look nicer than the actual thing.

I just got my Superion from BBTS yesterday. I love the it, but a few design flaws with Storm Jet (don't know his Japanese name) in combined mode really hurts. There's a peg connecting problem as well as a right leg connection problem on mine. I know the peg problem is on like every Superion (because it's talked about EVERYWHERE) and that the leg problem I'm having could just be mine.

out of the 3 hes my least fav but im still going to get one seeing as the takara set retails for £45 and buying each part of hasbros cost 38 total plus idd have to wait a few months for them to get it into the uk (we seem to be 2+ months behind the US with some weird exseptions like OS)
