I think the line rocks. I have no complaints.

IMO it boils down to DEMAND. Has/Tak can supply the TFs as long as they have the license and the molds for them, but, they cannot artificially build a demand when many fans are opposing the specific product.

I doubt Has/Tak will listen to us all of the time, but the case with the yellow vs the blue Alt/BT Tracks, IMO it was the demand issue. I am sure there is some corporate formula to determine if it is worth making any fig in two colors and the cost considerations. I doubt anyone here is privvy to such information and it really does not matter.

Has/Tak both have their faults, but so do we as fans. Bottomline, we need to compromise at times and so do they. We are in a working relationship, consumer w/seller and if we want them to keep on producing TFs, we need to encourage open discourse and exchange of ideas. I think the same ideas apply to the TF movie.

Lastly, this is not to say fans cannot complain and/or get irritated if Has/Tak does something completely unreasonable. But we need to work with them, not against them and above all else, we can always voice our opinions(even after they do not listen) by refusing to support the specific product. Voice your opinions with your wallets, your most powerful tool! :thumb

I wonder how much of a cost increase it is for HasTak to change the color of plastic used, and to pop a different head on for certain figures.

Just curious.

And my fiancee will be pissed at Hound, because I am seriously falling in love with that figure. Looks great, nice feel, the shocks are an AWESOME touch, and I can actually transform it back to the Jeep in less than five minutes! :)

I love them all except for the WRX and thats just because I dont think a sedan is an appropriate model for a toy race car.

Except that is a real world race car.

I see your point, but when I look at that race car all I see is "grocery getter with hot motor and wild paint". Yeah, it'll go like hell but just a bizarre body style to stuff with such a luscious drivetrain and engine. Something looking more like a Celica or RSX would be what I'd wrap it in.
