OK, so who thinks that HASTAK have done a good job

Recommended Posts

I am completely happy with the way that this line is working out. I disagree with people who think that this line needs different alt modes.

I think the best part about the line is that they are licenced cars, so I don't think that adding military, construction, or other things into the line would be that great. So if that means Starscream, Megatron, Soundwave, or whoever has to be cars, then so be it. Just my opinion of course.

I just fond DeadEnd at a walmart here in my town and love him... in the box you cant appreciate the color/paint he is... even if he is plastic it look just as good as diecast IMO, I amost always never leave my TF in vechile mode but this thing looks good, oh he really feels like a totally differnt car. and he has knees. The improvements and redesigns are truelly making up for the repaint ideas.

on the minus side I dont like the paint on his arms, it looks like it may chip - Hasbro might have thought the same thing since they covered his arms in plastic before closing the back part of the car.

Either way the detail of the alternators keeps me re-examining them all the time to find new points of interest, my girlfriend didn't even believe it was a transformer... thats the true "robots in disguise"

Hasbro/Takara it took 20 yrs but keep working on the alternators/binaltechs and I'll be around in another 20.

Alternators and Binaltech rock.  I have contemplated selling off all my other transformers just to collect these guys.  But since I am such big transformers fan, I doubt that would happen.  But I love the line and have come to the conclusion to buy one of each, one Alt and one Binaltech of each mold.

Already own.

Binaltech Smokescreen #7

Alternator Silverstreak

Binaltech Sideswipe

Alternator Deadend

Binaltech Hound

Binaltech Sunstreaker (Yellow tracks with Deadends head repainted)

Just ordered

Binaltech Meister (white)

&

Alternator Tracks (Blue)

Plan on picking up Swindle when I run across him, but will probably pass on Ravage unless I buy another tracks and do a Clampdown Deepcover homage.  (Not sure which is the black version of Tracks, Clampdown or Deepcover, or am I completely off on the names?)

Deep Cover is the Black and Blue version you'll want to pay homage too Dufftrix and they AREN'T recolors of Tracks, they are of Sideswipe incase you never knew.

I agree with you on that Alts/BTs rock.

They bring me much joy and satisfaction that I haven't had in a long time with most TF Toys.

I'm not upset at all that the Decepticons are remolds. I just wish they would have produced characters like Runabout and Runamuck before producing Ravage, Rumble, or others. I have nothing against Ravage being a car, but ever since they first said that the Decepticons were coming I've wanted Runabout and Runamuck more than any other Decepticon characters.

My hope is that they make--

Autobots:

Ironhide

Prowl

Brawn

Skids

Bumblebee

Cliffjumper

Decepticons:

Runabout

Runamuck

Breakdown

Wildrider

Drag Strip

Motormaster

Rumble/Frenzy

Shockwave

I have no problems with Megatron being a car, as long as he is the biggest Alt/BT out there and is silver and just has a good look to him. I also don't mind getting Soundwave as a car, as long as he can pass for a car with an amazing sound system.

When I first saw pics of Smokescreen and MP Prime, my G1 reissue and vintage collecting came to a screeching halt. That's how good this toy line is to me. I also contemplate reselling some of my figures for this line. To be honest, if I would have known that one year after I started my G1 collection that BT/AT was coming out I wouldn't have bought atleast haft of them. I've said this before that BT/AT is what I always wanted Transformers to be. Vehicles that look and play like real vehicles and at the same time still transform into high detailed and articulate robots. If they made little humaniod figures that could fit inside these vehicles, I'm sorry but I'd completely revert to being an 6-9 year old boy again.

Thanks Deathmarch for all the help.

I tracked down pictures of Clampdown and Deepcover, and boy was I way off.

For some reason I thought that Black Tracks had a different name, other then Black Tracks. But now that I have seen these two and been reminded of who they are, I might just attempt something.

But to correct my earlier post, Ravage will end up being Black Tracks. See the attached picture.

Cool Dufftrix...rock on man...bet it'll look groovy.

Glad I could help...It never hurts to help as a wise cat once said.

i share the common complaint, they take way too long to release, but i've got the 1st 5 that came out and releative quickly, just waiting on the next 6

I like the alts, but I could have lived without decepticons, the cool thing is that they look great on display and even non tf fans are impressed by them.... I cant wait for trucks and suv though (and somewhere a tank)

I absolutely LOVE this line. I've been wanting a realistic TF Jeep that actually looks good in both modes and Hound delivered, bringing me back to transfandom. As if that wasnt enough, Swindle looks even better. And there's still hope for him and D.E. to be re-realeased as Trailbreaker and Sunstreaker. As to the rest, I love them all except for the WRX and thats just because I dont think a sedan is an appropriate model for a toy race car. And Smith, Hound/Swindle is your truck/SUV.

I too think the Alt/Binaltech lines are great. This line has me collecting Transformers all over again also.

I think if they do add other 1/24 size vehicles it would only increase sales. Especially if you have a fan of construction or military vehicles that doesn`t appreciate cars as much.

It`s a win win situation for everyone

Except that is a real world race car.

20th Prime and the Alternators brought be back to Transformers. I stopped collecting half-way through Beast Machines. I just wish the Alts would come out faster, I can only find Smokescreen, Sideswipe, and Silverstreak here. I actually started collecting Energon because I was impaitent. :tflaugh
