Funny theory, but going by his size I'd say that even a normal combiner would be to small (they grow in size in the cartoons), I'd more say like a gun for Trypticon or something like that.

Huh. That's an interesting theory. One I've never considered before. I like it. It makes sense, really.. That trigger has to serve some sort of purpose or it wouldn't be there. I could definately buy him being part of a gestault at some point.. a giant, oversized targetmaster component, if you will. :nuts

see the episode i was refering to: "The Revenge of Bruticus". Bruticus was definitely holding Shockwave in gun mode

A little off subject, but does anybody have the Shockblast toy? It's like Hasbro just kinda swept him under the rug. He still has a question mark on his bio at their official web site and I haven't heard of anybody actually finding him. It figures because I was looking forward to owning him the most out of Energon. What's the deal?

Can't watch it, but I'll believe it. My point is more that Bruticus in gestalt mode is then either blown up in size or Shockwave has shrunk considering that the loose Schockwave would be larger then an arm of Bruticus.

I found him at a Wallmart in Place D'Orleans Ottawa.

Have to say, his robot mode is quite impressive, very posable, and looks definately bad-ass, like if Shockwave worked out really hard for a few months.

His vehicle and alt modes, are rather, sub-par, for what could have been really great. The vehicle mode really just looks like a gun with wheels, and the satelite, meh...

Don't get me wrong, his robot mode rocks, and he's worth the money he cost, just for that, but, in his other parts, he was kind of a letdown.

So what, you're saying that he's got abandonment issues?

Add to that the fact that he was cloned by radio shack!!!!!!!!!!

Piranacon?

And do you really like the idea of giant war-robots wanting to be held by bigger giant war-robots and having their triggers squeezed?

Though I may have looked a little to deep in to this stuff.
