ALTERNATOR TRACKS STICKERS

Recommended Posts

*Sigh* Guys, look. The only reason I can see why reprolabels produced the original Tracks G1 labels for his alt is because he matches his G1 counterpart so much more than any of the other alts. He's BLUE, he's a CORVETTE, and many people were asking for the original labels for him. So just let it go and let those who want to use them enjoy it. :P

Here Here!! :clap

Here's what the creator of the labels had to say about why he used the yellow Tracks over on TFW2005.com.

Oh dear Lord. There's so much I could say about that.

1) White trash and "Cat Scratch Fever" go together like Jack and Coke. Face it.

2) "Hood flame" decals went out with neon green rally wipers and Spuds MacKenzie.

3) ENUFF WITH THE GEEWUN!!!!!

Are you kidding? Haven't you seen "Pimp my Ride"???

Seriously, I think they look kind of cool. And it's not like Hasbro is releasing it with them - it's an option for the fans. I don't know about Tracks, but Meister DOES look rather plain. I'd be tempted to get the stickers, to tell you the truth... :tfgrin

IMHO, putting the "#4" and the "Martini" thingy on Alt. Meister is perhaps the dumbest customization ever.

There are no RX-8s Martini #4 racers. Period. Zero. Alt. is more of retaining the essence of G1, and not the duplication of designs. G1 Jazz worked as a #4 racer because there was a #4 Martini racer porsche of which the toy was based on. There are better alternatives out there for lessening the plainess of Meister. NR-A and Hydrogen Version comes to mind.

I can understand the flame deco on Tracks. Using your example of Pimp my ride, I can see how this is possible. But for G1 stickers on Alt Jazz?? It's like putting the Porsche logo on a Mazda, and saying "Oh, I want my Mazda to look more like a Porsche". DUMB.

Sorry, don't like them at all....The only label they shoulda made for Tracks is the anniversary white/red hood scoop cover...Now he looks like some 80's white trash cat-scratch fever-mobile...

(sigh) there's one or two in every crowd.....

This whole discussion is why all Alts/BTs should have as few alterations to the finished product as possible. It's alot easier to add things to your figure (G1 labels, custom paint, etc.) that to cover up something that was factory applied. Do what YOU want with YOUR Alt.

you're suggestion makes my Hotspot pucker.... I like'em just the way they are

Hahaha.

The funny thing is I never thought the flame decals really suited Track's upper-crust Ivy League persona anyway.

:rofl

How about "LIGIER" stickers for Robt Masters Rijie? :D

Oh, and:

:pfx

I always here people talk about the fact that Hasbro changed Tracks car color to blue but no one mentions that they also made his arms and legs a black smoke color.
