As far as MP Grimlock goes, IMO he is about as close to perfect as a TF toy can get. He has no discernible flaw. None. He exists as a perfect update to his G1 progenitor in all ways...in all things. IMO, he even supplants MP Prime, if for no other reason than that Prime's alt mode is compromised to support his godlike base mode.

 

Neither Grimlocks' base or alt modes, on the other hand, compromise anything in the name of superior playability, articulation and display potential.

 

If I could, I'd have Grimlocks' babies.

MP Grimlock looks so good, would love to buy him someday, but he tends to be really expensive. I'll keep an eye on the prices though, if they drop to a more reasonable price then I should be able to get him easily.

The longer you wait...the more likely, the more expensive it will become. The best you can hope for is it 'maintains' it's price, or that someone sells one off second hand and you find a deal. But I wouldn't count on 'time' making this one drop in its price.
