TF2 Transforming DVD Case

Recommended Posts

For TF1, they did the DVD transforming cases. I have Prime, and Megatron.

A couple weeks ago I saw a flip open Ironman head DVD case, so I don't think this is a passing trend.

So who's it gonna be for TF2, Starscream, Devistator, Bumblebee?

I'm thinking Bumblebee. I can pass on that, but I put the 86 movie in Prime and TF1 in Megatron, so I will need a third cause I like uniformity and all.

I say Bumblebee, since he's sporting new duds in the movie. I don't think Starscream would translate very well, FWIW.

I heart my 2 DVD cases- Prime carries the movie disc, and Megatron carries the Special Features. One shall stand, one shall be put in the DVD player...

:rofl

I have my Blu-Ray copy in Prime, and regular in Megatron. If they do a transforming case for the sequel, I'll keep it in that and put '86 movie into Megatron (possibly). Thanks for that idea Liege. If not, I'll get the two disc copy and put it in Megatron.

Now, as to who it could be. Well, with the first movie they did Prime and Megatron. As for the second movie, well, Bumblebee would make sense since after Prime, he's pretty high up their in important characters. For the bad guy counterpart transforming case, I'd want the Fallen. He seems like he'd be an easy character to make into a case.

The only downside to this is that the transforming case concept is pretty much the same transformation. I don't see how it could work any other way really. Flip the head (Prime), or mold the head in place (Megatron). The arms and legs swing out. The feet flip down, presto. Standing robot looking DVD case. All you do is just change the overall look to the mold to make it a different character.

What Megatron transforming case? I've only ever seen the Optimus one.

They'll probably just use the same cases and give them a repaint....

Anyways, I'm not into those type of cases, I prefer to have all my cases the same. Although I still wouldn't buy it, what the next cases should be, or eventually be, the Autobot and Decepticon insignia. If it were to come down to character only cases, The Fallen and Grimlock (OOPS!! Spoiler)
