In package pics of ROTF Starscream repaints and Special Twopack

Recommended Posts

This is funny.

Movie Landmine I redubbed Roadbuster, and I was gonna call Incinerator Whirl. It bothered me that I couldn't remove the Decepticon logo on his back so instead I got 2 more and made a shocktrooper set for Blackout.

As Wreckage is a Megatron on my shelves, a Bludeon repaint realy works.

I don't want 4 of the same figure with 1 being on the otherside, but I may have to get this for giggles anyway.

Actually, the Wreckage repaint is right out of the Alliance comics.

In Issue #2, right before he fights SS, Wreckage is attempting

to reformat into a green military jeep, but SS ambushes him and his stuck with green Wreckage, the comic version even has the purple.

EDIT: Oooooo, did not realize that this was a different repaint, looked almost exactly like the green and purple wreckage.

What the heck does that mean at the bottom middle of the Bludgeon/Whirl box..."Master of Metallikato"?!?!?!

The only acceptable Seeker mold in my collection is the Universe/Classics Seekers. :lol

Energon Starscream was decent, too. A bit too much undercarriage junk in jet mode but the robot mode was nice.

And if you want to collect the Animated Seekers you can always get their Activator versions. Much cheaper than the Voyagers.

Better alt-mode, less under-fuselage kibble, HANDS = Sold.

Yeah the voyager hs the best alt mode out of them ll consiering the robot replicas one doesnt transform, but robot replicas has the bst bot mode. And not all of them do. Remember the Barricade? *shudder*

I always thought a dirty cloud blue Blackout would be a nice Whirl toy, and I was hoping for a classics Bludgeon Pretender with movable knee and arm joints. I guess Wreckage would be a good mold for Bludgeon...If they make a new skull head w/ samurai warrior helmet :tfpwn

What are the odds? :lol

Because I JUST got him today, and love this mold. ;)

Eh no. I got scale-angst. So it's either get 'em or pass on 'em.. :lol

It's in reference to Bludgeon, because that's one of his skills. Check it.

Also, you guys need to fix the TFormers article. It still says Ramjet and DIRGE. It's Skywarp. Anyway, I'll probably bite on a few of these, more than likely the 2-pack.

Absolutely no interest in either Ramjet or Skywarp. Although it is nice that it's now possible to create (with a lot of money) the entire set:

- G1 Starscream, thundercracker & skywarp (all have the same head)

- Ramjet, original movie Starscream as Dirge and the red Starscream as a very exepensive Thrust (and by coincidence those have a different head as the first trio just as in G1).

:P

It is a bit strange that they use this older mold for the new movie when there's a new mold for this movie.

But that Whirl vs Bludgeon set is very nice and will most likely buy it (assuming I'm be able to get it without having to pay too much). The Wreckage repaint was already on my list, although it was my intention of turning it into Hardhead. And I was already seriously thinking of getting the announced blue Evac repaint to use as Whirl.

What exactly is the difference? Found a pic of the Wreckage repaint on e-bay (item #280314184112) and it looks pretty much the same to me.

Whirl isnt that good. I mean, the green energon helicopter should be whirl. Someone even made a great kitbash out of it....
