TFormers sponsor Big Bad Toy Store has posted a pre-order on their website for TakaraTomy's Alternity A-01 Nissan GT-R Convoy in Super Black. The price tag is slightly higher than the other versions of Alternity Convoy, but we're not exactly sure what that means. The figure is slated for a June 2009 release.

Nissan just unveiled the GTR Spec-V at the Tokyo Auto Salon a few days ago so it would not suprised me if this was linked to the new model as it comes in a new pearl black colour

Man, I was all set to order the red one. Now I'll have to waste more time deciding ><

Might be cool tho. Red one = Prime, silver one = Ultra Magnus, black one = Nemesis Prime :P

This is getting hard, I really want to grab all of the Alternity figures, but there a lot of other things coming out that I put a higher priority on..., and then they keep adding to the line, making more definite maybes for me..., hopefully I don't have to pass on these, but if need be, tey will get the axe over my other current high priority wants.

i like it too bad i don't collect alternity TF :smilebot

Optimus Prime. Painted black. Never seen that before. :roll

*grumbles*

I just can't get over it being totally bullshot that these are not 1:24 scale. It's a slap to the face of anyone that collected Alts/BTs. Takara should have given that some consideration...

why? that's like saying every toy post energon should have that retarded power linx gimmick even if its a movie toy.

IMO new line, new rules, new style and really Alternators was on its knees with all those sh*ty repaints it needed to end before every store refused to sell them

1:32 (or whatever these things are) >>>>> 1:24, JMO

And it's not a slap in the face to Alt/BT collectors, as this is meant to be a completely new line.

IIRC this is the scale TT originally wanted to produce BTs in.

Yes but these are in exactly the same style as BT. It's natural that we'd wish they could be displayed with them. And IIRC they are at the same price point the BTs were.
